“After two attempts to rent a vehicle failed, the third time was a charm. An auto repair shop doubling as a u-haul rental facility. We found the owner, Art, was not only helpful, but friendly and overall, a joy to deal with. He even went so far as to recommend a diner; as time was reaching the dinner hour and we barely had a donuts when most are eating lunch. Unbeknownst to Art the diner he recommended was having an overdue staff meeting. Ironically was the same at the airport diner we originally thought was doable.(kill two with one; eat then rent a vehicle. The diner was closed (as forementioned) and the car rental place was out of vehicles.) Renting a u-haul with the insurance, a four day lease and 700 + miles was close to the same cost to rent a car at $50 a day, unlimited mileage and a $250 deposit for a one way trip.In the past 11 years I have 10x''s checked prices for rentals. In the past three years I have worked for a moving company. Whether you are looking for a one way or round trip -truck or car rental I have found U-Haul to have the BEST rates for a person on a minimal budget. Thank you Art and U-Haul.
