Rooms looked nice on line and the location was great. Front desk Staff was rude and unfriendly, telling family “that is why you don’t travel in a blizzard and you will have to sleep in your car as all hotels are booked”. Again this was not an operations center or call center it was the front desk, two individuals one male and one female.I get they are stressed but not a great experience when family is already stressed to the max with conditions.

The room was nice and clean although i dont think the sheets had been changed from the last occupants.? the bathroom was really clean. They also have free breakfast and there is a fair amount of options to choose from. Personally, I think the self-serve waffles were the best.?

I loved this hotel! My family and I are moving from Nevada to Ohio and this was one of the best hotels of our trip (we've only been staying at Best Western during this endeavor, so it's a pretty steep comparison so far). The room was very spacious and I loved the color. Very modern and bonus, there were two TVs! Very relaxing, hope to come back again someday. Now, can you teach this to ALL Best Western owners? ?More hotels in general should be like this.

What a nice best western! When you first walk into the room, the "landing" was tiled, but the rest was carpeted - really enjoyed the design of that. I hate when the whole floor is tiled, but I liked that the entryway was.Great TV channels according to my companion, appreciated the TV guide more than most hotels. The lighting was inadequate - it seemed dark even with all of the lights on, although the underlighting on the desk was a great feature and gave us soft lighting that didn't seem too obtrusive in the morning. The staff were all very pleasant, the front desk people, the breakfast lady, did not meet one person who was unpleasant. The sliding door to the bathroom is the worst, I hate that design, it leaves gaps to the bathroom and IMO, should never be used for hotels. The beds were TERRIBLE, very uncomfortable and the pillows were not much better.I would give this place 4.5 stars if i could because of that, the beds alone make me not want to recommend this hotel because that's a major reason why you are staying. The ice machine in the hallway was well placed, easily accessible by all rooms and great for refilling our cooler. It is a pet friendly hotel, plenty of areas where you can allow your pet to relieve themselves. They had a dog bag dispenser at almost every grassy area which is so nice to have so many access points. They were also full! I can't even begin to explain how many times the bag dispensers have been empty at other hotels. I always wish that pet friendly hotels would have a little fenced area to allow dogs to go off leash, especially as this was near major roads and there are NO dog parks in Ogallala, but c'est la vie. There was a DQ and a nice coffee place nearby within walking distance which is always nice especially when you are driving for hours and hours every day.The breakfast was great, had so many options.Rooms: Spacious and clean, enjoyed it greatlyNearby activities: Almost none, there was a bomgaars nearbyWalkability: The only things to walk to were a gas station, a DQ and a bomgaars, and a coffee shop

This hotel is newer and very nice! The rooms are large, clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We traveled with our dog and the room was comfortable with her as well. Nice grass areas outside. Great place to stay off I80.

Oh my gosh! What an experience we've experienced! Melissa at the front desk is an amazing host. Beginning with finding us a handicapped accessible room, for our wheelchair bound daughter to getting us a excellent price all in the midst of a frantic Friday evening. We were stranded on I 80, hundreds of miles from home, and her cool calm collected voice, assistance and exceptional professionalism just overwhelmed my heart!! ❤️Truly wonderful people in Ogallala Nebraska!! Thank you Best western, and especially Melissa! Your extra efforts did not go unnoticed. They were deeply appreciated!?Rooms: The roll in shower for our handicapped wheel chair bound daughter was absolutely a God send, essential for our needs!Walkability: Close to many eateries, wallmart and service stations.

Overall, it was a fine place to stay, or as I would say, not to shabby. The room was clean. Stayed in a suite that was simply a bed with a "living room" next to it where the other bed would be if it was a double queen room... funny part was there were 2 TV's, one for the bed and one for the living room...but they were only about 8 feet apart. Seemed unnecessary but still turned both TV's on to the same channel for funzies.

JC and Brandon are AWESOME! I have been driving cross country and I’m completely exhausted. They went above and beyond to help me get a room. Seeing as I thought could pay cash, but that’s no longer accepted, I had to use two different cards to create the payment. They got it handled and I’m now able to finally take a much needed rest! These guys definitely need a raise for exceptional customer service!!! Total life savers. I definitely recommend this Best Western!!!!!

Hi I want to start this review off by saying thank you to the workers. My family was traveling from Minnesota. Monday night I came in with my dad and mom because all of the hotels around here were booked out. My dad has ALS and need oxygen from his machine. They got my dad on the first floor close to the door so it’s easier for him to walk. They also checked in on him to make sure if he need something. The girl with black hair at the front desk was amazing, and I think his name is Jonny as well.To summarize Best Western is very flexible very polite and all round good energy.

We have stayed at a LOT of your hotels but this was by far cleanest and beautiful hotel yet. 5 star plus for hotel and staff. We are gold members but hope to climb the ladder. God

Great hotel in Ogallala. Room was excellent and the pool area was nice and clean. Breakfast options were decent. If we're ever in Ogallala and need to stop for the night, we'll stay here again!

Are you the type of person who likes to use the bathroom without closing the bathroom door? Well, this hotel is for you!Check-in was interesting. No dogs of a certain breed, but they won't tell you which breeds. Also, it is pet friendly IF the pet is under 30 lbs. The bathroom door of the room was impossible to close due to poor design. The shower faucet was either full hot or a trickle. I reported these issues, but the staff acknowledged they knew of the issues and wouldn't do anything about the price ($255) of the hotel. Really sketchy.

Clean and comfortable room, devoid of any tobacco odor. Excellent breakfast. Good swimming pool. Great location, close to I80, good coffee and gas station. Will stay here in the future for cross country treks.

We had one of the suits, and it went on for days, lol. 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed.Had some problems checking in since I used Expedia, but the front desk really helped sort everything out.Breakfast was also one of the better ones we have had!I guess I don't book with Expedia.
