TravelCenters of America was established by Phil Saunders in 1972 as Truckstops of America. The company was among the first truck stop chains in the nation as a place for truckers. It feels that TA is still a place for truck drivers. There are numerous lanes for diesel and only 4 pumps for regular vehicles. There is a Country Pride restaurant inside that looks like it would cook up good old fashioned delicious truck stop grub. Like the cook says in the movie City Slickers "It's hot, brown, and plenty of it". Wish we could have stayed for lunch. TA is a place to gas up, get a snack or a meal and go. The Convenience store has some good things but it's not my first choice since I don't use diesel anymore.

This location is rather cramped and a bit old; although the employees are nice I did not enjoy the tiny tiny shower. They have a Country Pride and quite a bit of truck parking.

Parked for an hour after full shift. Just get to sleep and they knock on door telling me im in reserved parking. Literally 20 minutes left on clock and they forced me out of their lot. If you're going to have reserved parking "T/A", make sure its painted on the ground and make sure you have signs stating that its reserved parking. I would have put 0/5 stars but thats not an option. Its bulls*** that we have no way of knowing its reserved and you're kicking us out. How much is a can of spray paint to avoid doing this to drivers? Tired truck drivers are at risk of hurting themselves and or others when you do sh** like this. We need our rest, you're going to get somebody killed one day.

I like that the evening cook knows how to cook over medium eggs! Allysa is the best waitress ever! Looks good, smiles, and keeps you informed of everything going on.

I would have to say that this truck stop is not bad at all in general. I like that it's located right off the freeway. It's also really easy to get in, also, it's really easy to get to the fuel pump. This truck stop has good condition and clean parking lot. It's pretty easy to find and get into a parking spot here. The truck stop is designed for you to park your truck with no problem. The inside of the market, they had delicious coffee and many different snacks to help you continue on your trip. The store also has a lot of different stuff for the truck like oil coolant logbooks etc.

This is an older TA which in and of itself is not a bad thing. The parking lot is odd and in need of repair. They get points for having a doggy play area, but they get points taken away for it not being fenced in for off leash playing. Now let's discuss the restaurant, and the reason I'm only providing two stars on this review. I ordered a fairly simple meal, steak and eggs with them cakes. I ordered the steak medium, it was prepared well done. I ordered the eggs over easy, I could've used him as coasters. The pancakes they did not screw up. The poor cooking was exasperated by the even worse service. There were exactly 3 other patrons in the restaurant at this time and a staff of sex. With a staff of sex do you think someone would at least refill my drink. This was not the case. The "Waitress" who is over my area was in training. I'm not quite sure what she was in training for. Clearly it wasn't for a job as a waitress. I do believe she was in training for Candy Crush because she could not put her damn phone down long enough to do her job.

Does not sell alcohol High prices Rude employees Claims to have western union but no one working there can figure it out Advertises bus stop for greyhound that is actually accross the street at their competitor Only thing they got going for em is plenty of parking If you dont mind 35 rows of diesel rigs, stadium style parking, amd walking half a mile to get to the store

We ate breakfast at the Country Pride restaurant and it was a decent meal but nothing to write home about, either. It definitely has a very old school, comfort food vibe. I had a short stack of pancakes and they hit the spot but this is definitely your basic fare. My husband had traditional breakfast food too, we were both satisfied with their prices and the service was fine. There are not a lot of breakfast options on Sunday mornings in Ogallala.
