We are working on a project at home and are having the worst time color matching to our living room. We came in tonight and were helped by a younger guy and he was so so helpful. We came in around 715pm and we know they close at 8pm but he did not make us feel rushed and went above and beyond to help us find the most comparable. It has been a stressful project for us and this has been so helpful for us. I feel bad not getting his name but thank you for being so kind to us!

I recently took my Stihl weedeater to Ace because the string got caught in the head and stopped turning. I also know they have a repair person. I walked in expecting my weedeater to be taken in by the repair shop, that I’d have to wait two weeks and then I’d pay over $150.
What actually happened was much more pleasing: about a minute after I stepped inside an associate with a bald head asked me if I needed help. I told him I was looking to get the head replaced. He said he’d see what he could do for me. He then took the weedeater and started fixing it there. The string had gotten under the head and melted into the body. He scraped every bit off, while helping other customers with their questions and a smile and then he showed me the head options. We replaced the head and it only costs $25! Ace helped me in a time when money is tight and they’ll definitely be getting more of my money in the future!

Had what I needed and wonderful gal at checkout but was a little annoyed at myself for paying $49 a gallon for some stain here but later needed more and went to Menards where is was $39 per gallon which was not on sale but did get a % rebate back too. So more so just price gouging that I didn’t like to see.

Sharpening counter shouldn't be open on Saturday if you have to wait until Monday to get your lawnmower blade sharpened.
Also, they have multiple service menus on display. One is from June of 2022. As in 2 years ago.
Clearly they're not so busy maintaining their departments that they don't have time to sharpen a lawnmower blade

After 4 employees walked oast without offering help. I went ahead and asked for help finding a specific paint color. The employee didn't take the time to stop just said paint was "over there". When asking about it being in stock online, he proceeded to walk away saying that it showing in stock online means nothing. Won't be back
