This place sells items out of stock that dont ship for months and then when you try to cancel they dont respond. This might be a scam front but I am currently in a dispuste with my back and Its been over 30 days. I requested to cancel over a week ago and no reponse.

Long story,I bought a table that had incorrect assembly instructions paid 200 to a local assembly man Amethyst said I could have store credit for 200 I DROVE FROM BOULDER COLORADO TO OMAHA .Was informed that none of this had happened .BAD BAD BAD!!!!!

Terrific products at Amethyst! Our go to for any kind of rug shopping. Very pleased with quality and customer service. Best to get a sample to truly see colors and shades. Online shopping sometimes makes it challenging to get the true tones and colors.

I am writing this review with the hope of preventing another person from having to experience the difficulties I have encountered with this business. On Feb 18, I ordered the Nordic Dresser. The courier dropped the dresser while attempting to complete the delivery and broke it. I reached out to Amethyst who, after many emails back and forth, arranged for the broken piece to be picked up and offered a replacement. A few weeks later the replacement dresser arrived and was also broken. It sat in my home for five days until they sent a courier to pick it up. I reached out to Amethyst to request a refund as I have no confidence that a third dresser won't arrive broken (as the first two have). I have now taken four days away from the office to accept deliveries and facilitate returns for this order (Feb 10, Feb 13, Mar 31, and Apr 5). I have exchanged over 30 emails regarding this purchase with Elle from customer service. They refuse to issue me a refund but instead keep offering to issue another replacement. For a dresser costing in excess of $3,000, this is simply unacceptable. I understand that Amethyst is a small business and have done my best to remain patient and understanding. However, I would not wish this situation upon anyone looking to make a significant purchase for their home. I will not be purchasing from Amethyst again and HIGHLY recommend others refrain from doing so as well.

Wow! I'm absolutely blown away by the customer service, fast shipping, and beautiful, premium quality wool "Naomi" rug!My new rug exceeded my expectations and immediately raised the natural-luxe look and feel in my home. No unnatural smells, soft & comfy, and absolutely gorgeous.Unlike many retailers, I was delighted to find that Amethyst home does not outsource their "chat" option to an outside company... the OWNER replied to the chat (not a bot!) which meant my questions were replied to quickly and fully! And, such a nice touch to personally follow up (via email) to make sure everything was as expected after delivery.I'm pleased to have found a shop that embodies the same love for natural finishes, soothing aesthetics, top quality products AND beautiful service.Side note, I'm SO glad I ordered the rug pad she suggested, best one I've ever used and I won't be going back to a lesser one.Thank you, Amethyst Home, my other rugs pale in comparison so, I'll be back!

I had searched for a rug for about 6 months and everything I liked was well out of my price range. When I walked into the Amethyst, I assumed the same would be true. Rachel was so welcoming and directed me to some lovely options I could afford. The result is that I am getting a BEAUTIFUL rug that will grace my home and remind me of the kind service I received. Wish there were more places like Amethyst in this world!

BEWARE!!!!! I saw a beautiful little chair on this businesses Instagram account and thought it would be perfect for my parents new home build. I showed it to them, they loved it and bought it. They do not deliver so my mother had to go pick it up. It was transferred from Des Moines to their store in Omaha and when my mother picked it up. It was wrapped in plastic. She got the chair home and unwrapped it and there is a big unsightly stain in the middle of the seat! Of the non removable cushion. Also the chair is showing some wear on one side! This chair was never advertised as damaged goods! I'll post a pic of the beautiful chair shown on Instagram! (On sale for $1k) Longer story short, my parents hauled the chair back to her shop in Omaha and they begrudgingly agreed to refund. But not without saying we were told the chair 'was final sale' (UNTRUE) and that she was going against her policy. She told my mother that SHE wrapped the chair herself which is even more disgusting. I'm sure the owner will try to say my parents put the stain on the chair but that is NOT the I wish I would've read the reviews of this business prior to this purchase! Hopefully it saves someone else from the headache. I don't see how an unethical business such as this can stay afloat much longer in the big small town of Omaha.

Our Cisco Laguna 2 piece sectional arrived 18 weeks later than scheduled with a hole through the slipcover down into the upholstery on one of the corners. Sitting near one side of the sofa causes the opposite side to raise off the floor. Amethyst Home quickly took the slipcover locally to be repaired. I was told they would follow up after submitting a claim to Cisco Home about the rest. Five months went by with no word. When I checked in they sent me a link to an upholstery self repair kit on Amazon and quit responding to my emails, my calls unreturned. The posted Damage Policy seemed reassuring, my experience is that it can’t be taken at face value. Quite disheartening to trust a small business for a big ticket item and end up stuck with the damage.

Buyers! Please beware. This is a completely unethical business.I purchased expensive counter stools and being aware that they have a very strict return policy, I asked detailed questions about the safety of the stool legs on hardwood floors. They assured me they were safe and that if not, the options they had on their Amazon site (felt, sleeves) would work to protect my floors.After receiving the stools it was clear that because of the weight of the stools and the sharp, pointy legs they would definitely scratch my hardwood floors. I ordered several protection options from the merchant's Amazon store (felt, sleeves) and none of these options would stay on the stool legs due to the small circumference of the points.I immediately reached out to notify the merchant of this issue and to try and resolve it with them. The merchant then sent me the manufacture's own care instructions which read, "Do not drag the furniture along the floor, as it might damage the protective coating, cause rusting or leave permanent marks on the floor.” The only way to pull these stools out is to drag them across the floor because they are extremely heavy.I made several attempts to resolve this and the owner herself, Monica Freeborn, has shown no good faith effort to make this right. She has offered that I could ship the chairs back, at my own expense, and she would provide a store credit.This is unacceptable. The ownness is on the merchant. They provided completely false and inaccurate product information (that I based my purchase on) and they did not vet the product properly to ensure it would be safe for use on hardwood floors.After multiple good faith attempts to try to resolve this matter with the business owner I have had to enter into a billing dispute claim with my credit card company.Please beware of this company and their practices and protect your hard earned money and perhaps consider ordering your items elsewhere (especially if you aren't able to see them for yourself in person).Amethyst Home cannot be trusted with providing accurate product advice because many of these products are shipped by 3rd party manufacturers and it appears that the staff and owner have never laid eyes on them to validate the quality, design, functionality, and in my case safety on hardwood floors.The claim they make on their website that their "design team are problem solvers" is laughable.
