Wow. Just entering this place makes me want to take an antibiotic. I came thru during the Friday lunch rush (parking was HORRIBLE). The blond lady dishing up the food was very messy, food was dropping all over the place & she was oblivious to the mess. The fountain area was disgusting and in need a hot bleach bath. The kicker was the bathrooms. As a man I have been in some pretty bad bathrooms but this one was beyond redemption. The lady cashier was just cashing ppl out but other wise not doing much. The counter had rags, bags and was dirty but she made no effort to clean it up. Oh & there was a fly swatter on the counter where ppl put their food. Yuk:-( I left out of there feeling like I needed a bath. I thought I would give this place another shot at a different time (before I wrote this review) so I decided to stop & top off my tank. I stopped on a Monday evening and I was very surprised by this visit. The lady working was a hoot. She greeted me with a, "Hey if your gonna walk in my store u better be smiling". I laughed and proceeded to the cooler for a bottle of pop. The lady was in the middle of cleaning the place up. I noticed she was burning a candle, had some ol' country playing on the radio and her personality was enchanting. She seemed to know her customers, chatted with them all, called some by name & others she just called out a friendly greeting to them when they entered or she repeated the phrase she originally used on me. The place was MUCH cleaner this visit. I think in part due to this lady taking her job serious. My receipt said her name was "Princess". The floors tiles are broken up pretty bad. The fountain area is not ideal. The men's room was still lacking but it was cleaner. Honestly the whole place needs a make over. The gas pumps are OLD & u must pre-pay. There is a HUGE amount of crates, boxes & freezers out in open view. I'm assuming because there is a limited amount of space. This store would not be my go-to store by any means unless I needed gas. This store is at a good location if u need to top off ur tank. I agree with Chad's assessment that the owner needs to take pride in his/her store.
