Seriously the best staff I’ve encountered while traveling! Lots of skilled care patients keeps you busy but everyone works as a team! The scheduler is so sweet and is always so thankful to all the travelers that come to work! 10/10 recommend working here or having loved ones receive care here!

0 stars. Terrible staff. Terrible practices being used on the poor residents. If you have a conscience and really want to help residents stay far from here. Worked here a few short weeks and I was very disgusted and disappointed at what I was being “trained” to do. This place needs to be SHUT down and never opened. Sucks because I really wanted to work at a smaller facility.

Everyone ar The Ridge has taken great care of my pup and she loves visiting for her therapy. Her mobility has improved beyond my expectations! Dr Case and crew are the best.

My dog, Zima, has Wobbler's Syndrome. In and of itself, this is not a terminal disease. However, it can be extremely painful, and as a Doberman, her stoic nature never truly reveals how much pain she experiences. Through her physical therapy at The Ridge, her mobility and her strength have clearly improved. And although I can never be 100% sure, I believe her pain level has improved as well. Zima has a keen sense of where she is headed any time she gets in my car: whether that is going to the park, to a regular vet appointment or to physical therapy. She is always very excited when she senses she is headed to The Ridge. When she comes out a a session, it is clear that she really enjoyed it. The caring staff at the Ridge has unquestionably improved the quality of life for Zima, and we are both very grateful.

We have been seeing Dr. Gaines for almost 8 years with our two dogs. She and the rest of the staff are amazing and always take great care of our boys. I would highly recommend The Ridge!

My husband enjoyed his stay while doing rehab. He couldn't walk when he arrived there. They had him up and walking his first week there!! The Physical Therapy department is amazing!! He got excellent care in a family setting. Thank you to the nurses and caregivers for the wonderful experience we had!!

We have been going to Ridgeview, and now The Ridge for 20 years in total. Dr. Gaines and the team are always amazing. And, our dog is a rescue with some VERY big trauma from his past. However, you can see he does just fine in his environment. They are always so patient and kind. I would recommend them to anyone!

This was our first full visit for our new pup, Daisy. We chose this location because we had used it with Dr. Backlund (retired) for years. The Ridge took over the clinic. Our visit was great! Courtney and Dr. Gaines were very caring and compassionate. The staff at the front desk was friendly. The doctor took plenty of time with Daisy and answered all our questions. We look forward to having a long relationship with this vet clinic. Thank you.

We have been taking our little senior dog Sadie to the Ridge for rehab therapy after we opted out of rear hip surgery on the recommendation of our regular vet. We have been extremely pleased with everyone there, from the front office staff, to the tech therapists and to the vets. Sadie is progressing nicely, and we have seen improvement in her range of motion movements, and a seemingly lessening of pain (due partly to the pain and anti inflammation meds). She is getting a mixed bag of treatments: Laser therapy, water treadmill, stretches, etc. We would recommend The Ridge for any rehab therapy on your beloved canine pets.

I have that dog with severe allergies and she has seen MANY different veterinaries in her short 8+ years. Joanne Gaines at The Ridge is an excellent vet. She listens and is open to new things and isn't condescending in her responses. I would highly recommend using this clinic to anyone who is looking to change their pet's doctor. I raw feed and use as much holistic treatment as possible and the doc has no problems helping me with this. She is great! Glad I found her.

I have been going to Dr Backlund and his staff for decades and recieved excellent care for all my kitties. I was sad he retired (kudos to him) and a bit worried about the change in vets but I have loved the new vets. And happy to see some of the old staff is still there. They have taken great care of my cats with their various issues and are always happy to answer questions.

When my puppy got sick I was able to take her in the same day that I called. They took a lot of time with us to examine her and explained everything to me. They even took the time to email me with more information and call the next day to see how she was doing.

I don’t like giving bad reviews but there is steam coming out of my ears right now. My mom and her dog were hit by a car this past fall and it was suggested by our vet to try acupuncture. At no point since the accident has this dog regained any strength or function in her front leg despite multiple costly interventions. Unbeknownst to me, Ridge has been selling my mom NAME BRAND anti inflammatory and gabapentin $$$ - without any intention or plan to discontinue either. My mothers inquiries about ways to save money due to mounting costs (because this has now been going on for several months) were met with indifference. They recommended 6 treatments of AP but half way through insisted she needed a “re evaluation in order to schedule the next appt” $$$. They’re unapologetically rude and steadfast in their clinical opinions but where they got these opinions or medical training - who knows. It’s so demoralizing to see vet clinics like Ridge exploit sick or injured pets and their desperate owners. The neurologist today poked holes in Ridge’s entire treatment plan (literally every single recommendation) and was horrified that this had been going on for this long. My advice to anyone reading this is to A) always double check the cost of your pets meds online to save money and/or insist on generic B) do some research on alternative or complimentary medicine to confirm it’s evidence based before emptying your wallets C) avoid this sham of a clinic.
