Would rate this store 5 stars, but they never ever have slabs of ribs available like other nearby Bakers. Deli personnel under direction of enhanced store management need to do a much better job of keeping up with demand for this product. If they are not going to consistently keep this item in stock, then they should take down any signage that relates to this item as it simply serves to aggravate customers.

Great store. I’ve been shopping there for years. However there have been 3 times in last month where either the deli person was on break or only one deli person on with over 6 people waiting. Each time I’ve shopped the deli it’s been between 4:30 and 5:00 which logically seems like it may be busy.
Today I arrived at deli counter at 4:35 pm. There was note indicating person was on break until 4:50. Upon the person coming back at 4:50, there were 7 people waiting.
Better staff scheduling would likely fix this issue.

The products are expensive, the deals are good though. Good coupons, good savings with the store. My only complaint is I can't order pickup with EBT.

It's nice having a grocery store in our neighborhood, but the pharmacy needs help very slow. Wife got out of surgery and it took them over 3 hrs for us to get her scripts. Their excuse all the time is we're short staffed.

Used to be a very friendly place and they should go back to pre-cut deli meat. And, I was in today buying gift cards for employees and I made a mistake in what I grabbed and in the self check lane the lady helped me figure it out. However, she seemed extremely annoyed and was rude. When I thanked her a couple of times for her help she paused and then made a comment like "it is what it is" and walked away. That is crazy bad customer service.
The front end managers are all rude except for Laura.

Waited over a hour in pickup. I called and finally got a answer after calling the 4th time. They guy didn't seem to care about my wait. I had my one year in the backseat. They told me to wait 10 more minutes and it was yet another 20 minutes. Terrible experience. As a busy mom this is service is ment for convenience and it was anything but that.

I decided to try online grocery shopping this weekend at Bakers instead of using Walmart because I keep getting spoiled or nearly spoiled meat from them. I'm very disappointed because our frozen food was thawing out when we got it and the ground beef is brown and spoiled just one day later. Clearly our food wasn't kept cold but the store clerk James thought it was a good idea to debate that issue with me. Not a good experience to have your dinner ruined and then have the store clerk dispute your issue. I also had to wait on the phone for sometime as no one was available in the online shopping dept.

This Baker's used to be a store I loved going to. All the departments were good, the people were friendly and it was reasonably priced but over the last few years things have been changing. The people are still nice and the prices are still reasonable (I know everyone has gone up inflation and stagflation-wise and it sucks a$$) but over the last couple years they've slowly taken away the personal grocery experience. Started with changing out the floral department so you couldn't get arrangements you usually could, then grew to the meat department where you can't get custom-cut steaks or have them slice meat for you anymore.
The thing that is now going to put me over the edge and not want to go here anymore are the flipping self checkouts. Since COVID, every business has struggled with keeping employees and this was surely evident in their checkout lines. After several months of long lines they finally opened end cap self-checkout aisles. There were 6 stations in each self-checkout for a total of 12. HOWEVER, 6 of them are closed 5 days out of 7 at the busiest times.
Here's the end-all. These self checkout systems are trying to prevent theft by weighing and/or scanning everything that goes through, in addition to you being on camera. Yesterday I was in the store, it was busy and understaffed. I had 8-10 items in my small cart and was trying to check out. I was flagged for shoplifting items 4 times and had to wait 3-4 minutes after the checkout shut down for a staff member to come over and check to see if I had. Each time they found in my bag what the scale/conveyor belt failed to recognize and flag. When you're trying to get in and out of the store in a short amount of time experiences like this are very frustrating and a HUGE waste of time.
Bad part, this isn't the first time this has happened yet it keeps getting worse. This has been my go-to store since we moved here in 2003. Do you realize how many THOUSANDS of dollars I have spent here in over 20 years?
Kroger has ruined the shopping experience that Baker's used to have and I just wanted to give you a sarcastic THANK YOU.

I can't believe this Bakers installed like 8 slot machines right next to the pharmacy and express checkout lanes. I've tolerated that they've started selling less and less of my favorite items over the years, but at this rate it's turning more into a casino and less as a grocery store. Such practice is unacceptable as it's predatory on the elderly and enticing for the young. I'm done with this place.

The people who have worked there since before covid or since it was actually Bakers are great. All others are lazy and clueless. Asked to call a manager for more checkers and the one on duty advised there was no one else available while 2 people were behind customer service on their phone. Went to get a prescription and they said the whole RX was going to lunch, then when they came back said it would be another 30 minutes. This is ridiculous, pathetic and inexcusable, considering I had left the doctor at least 4 hours prior. Wish it was the old Bakers, but I guess I will have to start shopping elsewhere.
