The cart person was on his phone taking a sit down cart in and was in a way in an handicap spot. So I honked so he can get out of the way. Tried to get in the store and he approached us.The manager didn't do anything to the employee

Walking into this store goes like this. You’re greeted by an armed security guard who only acts suspicious with black African American customers. Pacing back and forth in aisles watching your every move. At the customer service counter there is a black female Muslim that ALWAYS have a frown on her face and acts as though she barely wants to service black customers. Lastly, at the self checkout lanes there is always a white Caucasian guy who paces the floor back and forth looking and acting insane and unbalanced. On top of it all I always hope the checkout doesn’t say “attendant is needed” because the same guy smells so musty you will gag and throw up ? on site by his body odor. Bakers 132nd Maple PLEASE !!!! GET IT TOGETHER.

I loved the online delivery service with the Boost they have. Although recently they switched their delivery service to Instacart and I am honestly unsure why I put a delivery time in. Since they switched my groceries are never in the 2 hour window and I am missing groceries or it seems they can never find normal items. Honestly I am thinking about looking into Walmart or Hyvee just so I don't have to plan a 4 hour time window for my groceries. Yes I know I can go to the store but since I am paying for the service and now a tip as well. I would love for it to be on time and at least let me put the tip in after. So like when I am missing 40$ in groceries the delivery person isn't getting a tip and my food!!!

Customer Service attendant by the name of Cristina was very rude and unprofessional. The self checkout attendant by the name of Angel as well very rude and condescending with her remarks. 0/10.

So happy!! These people are professionals, that actually COMMUNICATE!! I know, that's such a rare commodity today, but not here, they're friendly, personable, and professional. All the things you want from your pharmacist. Highly recommend

The check out area is such an inefficient design. They are self check out areas, but there is only space to put groceries into two bags. The computer frequently encounters issues that require an associate’s help (no idea what the issues are, computer doesn’t specify and associate just scans their code and walks away). Most of the checkout lanes aren’t even used because there’s never a cashier staffing them. If the store is going to have self checkout, fine. But please use the space and add more checkout lines. There’s always a significant line for checkout and only one associate having to run between the two areas resulting in unnecessary and significant delays and inefficiencies

I ordered my groceries on line for delivery which was suppose to come 5-6. Six past and no groceries!!!! After contacting different numbers, I finally talked to a human that said the delivery was delayed by two hours!!!!!! No notification was given to me. This rude and inconsiderate behavior isn't tolerated!!! Many people, including myself, PAY A LOT for your groceries!!!!! If Bakers loves and values their customers, they are not demonstrating this anymore!!!!

Idk how many people read grocery store reviews... but for what it's worth, I love this Baker's. Just moved here from Ohio and had a couple different options for grocery stores. To set the tone, I get at LEAST 10 Minute Maid Fruit Punch half gallons a week, and starting with the manager- they deliver on expectations. Regardless of who I ask when I come in, someone on the floor is always willing to check in the back for my case. I've never gotten any groans, moans, or frustration about getting assistance. They just make it easy, and that's the experience I look for when dealing with a store, AND what makes me come back. Goodbye Hy-Vee, hello Baker's!!

Wow. Very strange that all of the cooler and freezer sections are no longer lit up. Guess bring your own flash light so you can look and see what they have. Cashiers never greedted or said a thing, like being helped by robots.Have recently done some work on their parking lot and they have reserved spots for order pickup right in the front of the store. Parking lot lights are a dark yellow and seem dim as well.

Manager gave attitude because I was trying to do more than 2 delivery orders at a time, and just assumed I was new at my job and assumed that all of us delivery drivers don’t know what we are talking about. He told me not to come back and he got his wish. One of the rudest people I’ve ever met.

The taller white cashier with the blonde hair at the self check out lanes looks at all black customer like a hawk. ? I’ve noticed that every time I come to this Bakers she runs over to the register that they manage and does something to the register that causes the registers at self checkout that black customers are using to operate slowly so that she can come over to the registers and be annoying. Her overall tone and demeanor reads racist! This will not stop me for coming into this store something I know she would love to see. The white store manager is the same. He rides around on the self cleaning floor machine looking and following black customers in the store also. They both are very weird!

This is by far the best Bakers location. They have so much more of a selection than the other stores. However I bought 2 ferns there the day before Easter & gave one to my daughter. They were very full & lush but the day after they were very dead. I think they had frost bite. Going on a month now Bakers has yet to reimburse me for them. First they wanted the receipt, and now they want the receipt & the dead plants. I live just short of 20 miles from there so it's not all that convenient. I have boughten many flowers & plants there before so this very upsetting for me. After all they were $15. a piece. I hope that other people didn't have the luck I have.
