Thanks for the great sale. Purchased almost t $200 worth of product. Clerk asked if I would like pumps. I said that would be nice. Well they are $3 each! Shouldn't something like that be complimentary?

This review is for the salon suites in this Beauty First. It looks like the area has been recently renovated. It's modern and inviting. The suites are nicely appointed and the perfect size for a few people at at time. I visited Vicki Billings for permanent make up. I imagine there's a lot of variance in the different providers, but if you find a stylist or technician that works in this area it'll be a good experience building and environment wise.

Warning, 30 day ONLY return policy. I agree that the products they sell are good, but their policy for standing behind what they sell is poor! They have a 30 day return policy, so you are out of luck if what you purchase goes bad after 30 days. I bought hairspray, that cost $26.00, the nozzle has clogged and will not spray properly. Because it is over 30 days, and even though the can is still fairly full, they would only offer a 50% refund. I can understand if I just decided I didn’t like what I bought, but this is a defective product. Apparently their staff is not able to “think for themselves” and are not allowed to consider the situation. My policy is not to shop someplace that doesn’t stand behind what they sell.

I went in the store with my mother earlier today. We waited at the counter to be checked out and we were asked to step aside twice while they checked out other customers they were helping shop even though we had been waiting there for minutes before to be checked out. When we were finally checked out, my mother questioned why we were pushed back. The worker only answered they were short staffed and had an attitude the rest of the transaction. I understand staffing may be an issues, however people shouldn’t be pushed to the back of the line and neglected when they have been waiting several minutes to check out. Due to this, I will not be returning to this location.

My sister and I found Beauty First at 78th and Dodge while looking for a different beauty supply store. We stopped in and were pleasantly surprised by our experience. The ladies were all very nice and we found Nicki H. to be extremely helpful; not just with helping us find what we were looking for, but by explaining the differences of the products to us. I was considering purchasing an expensive shampoo and conditioner but Nicki assured me the one I am currently using is just as good, that I didn't need to spend the additional money replacing it. I found her honesty to be rare and refreshing, and would much rather spend my money at a store that listens to their customers needs and provides such great service, unlike the unpleasant experiences I have had at the Ulta's of the world. We will both be going back to Beauty First on 78th and Dodge for our beauty supply needs.

CURLY GIRLS LISTEN UP!! I read a review here about the deep conditioning treatment and had to stop in and try it for myself. Kennedy was my stylist and I am thoroughly impressed with her! She has experience with multicultural, naturally curly hair and it shows! She cut my hair curly first then styled it straight to check and make sure I wouldn't be choppy. A Big Thank You to Nikki at the Beauty First on 78th and Dodge. She was so helpful and showed me some new products by Kenra. I love the brand but I have been struggling with some reactions to certain products. She introduced me to their new products that that have eliminated some things that might be affecting my scalp. When we went to check out, she reminded me that if I purchased on Tuesday, I could use my Gold card status, which I had forgotten about. By doing so , I took advantage of a nice discount!! Nikki truly cares about her customers and I definately will continue to use Beauty First!! Plus she pointed out that they are family owned and I am definately an advocate for our local businesses. Kudos to Nikki and Beauty First!❤️?❤️

I went to the store on Maple looking for a few products for my hair and make up. The sales associates were polite and attentive….however, didn’t get me products that really worked for me. I realized when I got home and tried these products that I could not use them….they just wouldn’t work.
