Benson Lions Park is a charming neighborhood park that offers a pleasant space for families and visitors. It features a nice playground area, a beautiful pond-lake, and plenty of green space for gatherings. The park includes grills and picnic tables, making it a great spot for outdoor meals. A highlight is the newer splash pad, which is perfect for children to enjoy and cool off. While the park has many positive attributes, some visitors have noted a few downsides. There is no parking available, which can be inconvenient, especially on hot days. Additionally, the park could benefit from more upkeep, as there have been reports of broken bottles and litter around the benches. Furthermore, the lack of restrooms is a common concern among visitors. Despite these issues, many find Benson Lions Park to be a wonderful place to spend time outdoors, particularly for those living nearby.
The only downside is no parking. Great park, but primarily designed for those in this neighborhood within walking distance. That's just a little tough for some on hot days.
