If I could give this location negative stars I would. I paid for personal training sessions upfront in full. Three sessions in I was hit with a 120$ charge. No one at the location or manager are able to tell me what this is for. This was in Aug. it is now Nov and still dealing with them on my refund. They have stated several time your refund is approved we are waiting on the owner now!!!! it’s for extra training sessions. My trainer got FIRED before I even finished. The dude would was not consistent and wouldn’t show up some session just trash. Than this week another 120 was taking out and they can’t tell me what it’s for. DO NOT TRUST THIS GYM. SCAMMERS!! The fact they haven’t offered compensation after leaving me hanging with training sessions and taking my money for god knows what. I called corporate everyday last month no one has returned my calls either. DO NOT TRUST!!! It’s 2024 there should be penalty of documentation stating what is being charged and why! You should be able to tell your customers with ease why you are taking their money. I don’t have an extra 120 to give away

We payed up the membership after the fact told them to cancel out my card and use another they billed the card we told them to take off. Then the manager lied and said he didn't sign us up for the premium 9.99 price. They ripe you off for as much money as they can get from you.

Scam! Never prepay! Avoid this gym at all cost! The Lincoln, Ne gym ran a prepaid promo for a year during the month of September and then closed the gym ten days later on 9/17/23 refusing to issue refunds. I am out $213.43 on 9/7/23 because Joel Potter, the owner or CEO, refuses to refund my money despite breaking the contract just ten days later on 9/17/23. He maintains that I should drive the additional five miles roundtrip to a replacement gym, Anytime Fitness. No thanks, buddy. Nice clean gym, ABSOLUTE scam as far as what they charge. They charge you more than they say they will when you sign up, and they will keep charging you after you cancel your membership. I signed a contract saying they would not charge me beyond my last month, and sure enough, I got charged in full the following month. When I called 3x asking for a reimbursement, they promised a call back and never did. Eventually the only thing they had to say was “the guy was new who assisted in cancelling your membership,” and never gave me my money back. Nice gym to workout at, but will cost you much more than they claim.

First time visiting. Front entrance is a build up of dirt and dust like they NEVER clean the area - at all. Front desk person was nice - the rest of the gym was ok. Shower was ok however no hot water.

Horrible gym and awful management. They will go out of their way to make canceling your membership as difficult as possible. I highly recommend joining elsewhere and avoiding this scam.Response to Joel: I joined at the Central location and had all club access. Thanks for providing the literature. My point is Blue Moon specifically goes out of its way to make the cancellation process as difficult as possible. When signing up I verbally asked the employee what the cancellation process is and they assured me it was very simple and immediate. It would be good business to be clear when signing people up. Might help with these bad reviews and you wouldn’t have to try to justify anything.Hope this helps somehow. If you want more clarity feel free to pull my number from the system and give me a call.

I considered membership for this gym because of their 12-week free membership but backed off when they asked for my bank account information. They have since called, emailed, and texted me. It's been an hour. I joined the YMCA instead. Stop.EDIT: Three weeks later I am still getting emails and calls from them, some spoofing a number from my hometown 1,000 miles away.

I love the dedicated women's area. Quiet and not too crowded. A good variety of equipment there, as well. Would be great if they could get a weight lifting machine to work the calves out back there (Is a calf-curler a thing? I don't even know, lol). Staff is always friendly. Positive environment and not intimidating. Highly recommend!

Flexible and affordable membership plans, very diverse equipment, rarely busy, welcomes diverse fitness levels, easy in and out, nice lockers, reasonably quiet, dedicated women's room.... Couldn't ask for much more.

The gym is what it is, and shockingly, that's not the issue. I cancelled my membership in March and received receipt of this immediately but to my surprise, I was charged repeatedly until June. They had forgotten to cancel it in the system. Originally, it seemed like this would be no big deal, I'd just be refunded within 30 days and was told to call back in July if I had not received a check yet. I had not received one by July 8th so I called and was told it would be another 30 days. I received a call confirming my address and telling me that the check would be sent out soon. And still, no check. I called in August and have now spoken to Nick multiple times being told he understands my frustration and it will be another 30 days. And here we are in the middle of September with no check and no call back (as requested) from upper management.Overall, if you are looking for a mediocre and moderately priced gym, where all you get is lip service when they can't correct their own multiple mistakes, you're in the right place :)
