I was unfortunately very disappointed with my experience at Contour Nail Bar. My experience was very rushed. My gel extensions were quickly placed on top of my nail with a thick layer of nail glue, she didn’t trim my nails or push back my cuticles before placing the extension. I wanted cat eye, but she only did two layers of polish. Because the extensions are clear, and there was no solid base coat, you can see through the nail and it looks unprofessional. For 75$ I expected better. :(

I just came in with a friend of mine who sung nothing but praises about yall. I was so excited as this is the first time I've been able to pamper myself in a long time. Plus, the nails matched with my outfit which I was so excited about too. Let me give you a bit of background. I'm a preschool teacher so if i end up accidentally scratching a child there is a whole process I have to go through to make sure that its documented to the proper channels. I obviously knew this when I came in but didn't press it a whole lot. I think the first red flag was that my tech acknowledged that I told her I wanted a different shape than the one in my picture. When she got to cutting my nails she said, "This length." I replied with "yes do you need me to pull up the picture of the shape I want." To which she replied with "no it's fine." I had kind of just assumed she was just going to do a different shape but then not tell me. Although I should've known better than that because after she shaped my nails, they were the exact shape I told her not to do moments before. Mind you these nails are really pointy, and I knew I didn't want them because of the kiddos I worked with. Instead of sticking up for myself though I just let her keep it like that. But after about 30 minutes of "buffing" my nails she got to the point where she was going to paint them. She was able to paint all of the solid-colored nails but had to bring over another person to do the design. I thought that was a good thing because she knew her limitations on what she could and couldn't do. But to be honest after looking at what the two of them did collectively to my nails I am pretty upset. The design looks like trash, and you can't even tell what's on my nails. So now I'm just supposed to show people my nails and them not be able to figure out what their looking at? I don't know but I asked for a catus desert theme which I thought because they were professionals it would be easy for them. But the fun didn't stop there. After the other lady returned to put on the topcoat, she didn't wait until the nails were dry and completely smudging them which just made the problem so much worse. Looking at the reviews I wish I would've never spent my money with yall. I'm not only angry but the lady next to me wasn't happy with her nails either. So you have more than 1 dissatisfied customer at a time. I will not be spending my money with you all anymore and will be finding someone who is less dismissive of my requests. I hope to hear from someone soon. Below is the what I wanted versus what I got.

Made appt, told 5 min wait and ended up 25mins. Horrible job on nails. Showed what I wanted and said no pick different color, it won't look good. Picked another and they didn't have the color. Next color didn't even match what I picked. Person was very irritated. Didn't get sides of nails, clumpy nail polish on side of fingers. 1st time here, super bad experience

Middle of the road. They had good availability but with all the changes in ownership some of the organization of the place is obviously lacking. I had a pretty good experience. After the confusion with no front desk worker, my nail tech did a good job on my dip mani. My pedi tech kept trying to upsell me and didn’t “seem” to understand English. I kept asking questions and he kept saying the same thing and pointing to the most expensive pedi service. I finally settled on what I didn’t want but then he did a really good job on my calluses. They are good in a pinch but have dropped off my favorite with all the changes.

Lynn was the only person that I would let touch my nails, because everybody else seems to not have the same professional skills and precision of detail as her. When I was told Lynn no longer works there I should’ve walked out immediately. But instead, I decided to get a full set. I don’t like the lady who did my nails because she moves too fast and is very dismissive. She acts like she runs the show and bosses people around. When I mentioned that my nails lifted really bad last time she did them, She seemed to be offended. but it’s the honest truth. It doesn’t matter how fast you can do a full set, that doesn’t mean you are better than everyone else. Here we are not even a month later and two of my nails are gone and the rest are lifting. I just had a fill a week and a half ago. I absolutely will not be returning. FYI my friend had got a shellac mani pedi a week ago and her nails are very chipped. Another $100 wasted.

Went in last Friday and got my toes done with my boyfriend and a full set of acrylics. Two days after the paint on my toes completely fell off besides a couple of toes. I went back in and asked for them to redo it and the lady who did it repainted over the existing paint that was already falling off. Fast forward to tonight one of my acrylics has just fallen off after not even having them for a week. Do NOT go here.

I was in last Wednesday to get shellac on my nails and toes and after less than 24 hours it started to chip in some spots and in others it got gooey and sticky and gets black stuff on everything I touch! I went in Saturday to get it fixed and once again in less than 24 hours it’s doing the same exact thing. They also do not use sterilized equipment! At this point instead of fixing the nails I requested a refund which they declined. Do not get your nails done here, honestly just a huge waste of my $132

The most horrible place to get your nails done. I cried in front of everyone because my nails were so bad. I had to pay full price and the tech that did my nails was extremely ignorant. I also got my toes done which are naturally square & she rounded them out. When I wanted matching square french tip nails.

Vicky is the best. She literally is a machine that handles everything. I get really long pedicures from Henry and she will go out of her way to do my nails during my pedicure. She’s efficient and works really hard. 10/10 recommend

Amazing! My friend and I came in for a last minute manicure. We had Ruby and Katie, we’ve never loved our nails more. We’ll be back!
