We had breakfast and it was pretty good. There was one down side though. The gravy, for the biscuits and gravy was very bland. It tastes like the flour the I am sure was used to make it. Service was pretty good.

Awful management. My family loves Cracker Barrel - we at least go once to every other month, but we usually go to the one in Council Bluffs since it’s closer to our home. We were out this way and decided to give this Cracker Barrel a try. We had a party of 10: 5 adults and 5 kids ranging from 18 months to 10 yrs old. The host “Sean” quoted us a 40 min wait, we decided we’d wait. After the 50 min was up my elderly mother went to talk to the host about where our place was in line. He said he was waiting on a table of 10 to get up so we could have their table. Mind you the restaurant was half empty. My mom asked if he could just push two tables together since it was past our quoted time and we were trying to keep young children occupied for the past hour. Sean rudely talked down to my mother like she was a child and told her she needed to wait for the 10 top to leave. My husband who is has been a restaurant manager for 5 years didn’t like the interaction and asked to speak to his manager. That wasn’t any better because the manager was also rude, unfriendly, bothered, and condescending. He didn’t even greet us or introduce himself, just continued on like we were a bother for even asking to speak to him. Then as we are trying to explain our situation to him, he cuts us off and says they had already pushed two tables together for us in the restaurant and we could be seated now. After Sean the host told us that wasn’t possible. The kicker of it all was, when we entered the restaurant portion, there wasn’t even a 10 top seated in there. And then, after 10 min of being seated they sat another 10 top right next to us who had just walked in the door. If you could see my eyes roll... Oh but wait there’s more… So Aaron our server takes our order and puts it in at 2:52pm. We didn’t get our food until 3:40pm! We only ordered 3 entrees, 3 kids meals, and 2 cups of soup. That’s it. Shouldn’t have taken 50 minutes to prepare. Aaron never came to check on us before, during, or after our meal. We didn’t have silverware to eat and had to go scavenging for another non existent server to get some. So in conclusion, just awful, awful experience here. Go to the one in CB.

My waitress was amazing, but literally sat waiting for my food for AN HOUR. People who got there 20 mins after us got their food before us, then after waiting for our food we ordered 45 mins ago they tell us they don’t have any more of what i wanted. If u wanna leave hungry go here.

Bad experience this trip- went to celebrate a birthday. The waitress was rude. We haven't experienced that in the past at Cracker Barrel. The manager quickly apologized and offered assistance when I went to pay.We were seated around 7:15pm. We waited for someone to take our order till around 7:45. We had to ask if someone was going to take our order. The response was they would, but they couldn't right now as they had to bring food to other tables ( in an annoyed voice tone). It seemed as if we asked for the impossible? We finally got to order, then anxiously waited for our biscuits to come out. They never did. We had to ask the waitress for them and she said it that doesn't come out b4 your food unless you ask, again in an annoyed tone. The whole table looked at each other shocked. We have never had to ask in the past. The biscuits always came out after you ordered. The waitress, Anna, finally brought out the biscuits but no plates. The food took forever to come out. We didn't eat till after 8:30. They weren't packed, so we had no idea why it took so long. No apologies from wait staff, just an attitude. I assume the waitress either didn't like her job or was just having a bad day, either way she was rude to my party of 7 for no reason. I was happy the manager helped, but that waitress made our dinner one 2 remember for the wrong reasons.

We (5 women) were there mid-February to celebrate my mother's 81st birthday. The food was good. Our server (Tay? Maybe. Can't remember for sure) acted like she wanted to be anywhere but there. I believe I offended her on top of that. My husband is a preacher and we pray all the time, including before meals. If we have a server there at the time we're about to pray, I will ask if they have anything they'd like us to pray for. Whether he is with me or not. Been doing that for years and years and years and get all kinds of responses - yes please with details, yes please, thank you, polite no thank you, impolite no way, simple no. So I asked her. She first said, "let me get back to you." So we waited a bit. When she came back she said her mom was sitting nearby and could she go ask her? Okay. Then she ignored us for most of the rest of the meal. Didn't refill our drinks. Didn't ask how things were. We wanted to order a piece of pie for my mom but couldn't because she never came back, even though we could see her attending the other tables, and a different server brought us the ticket.I'm truly sorry if I offended her and that made her decide to give us poor service that evening. She could have simply said no. She could have even totally ignored the question and continued to serve us. I doubt any of the women of my family will want to go back any time soon.
