Hours on Google are NOT accurate! This location in particular seems to choose their own hours each day and change them whenever they choose without updating on Google. I don't have a problem if they change their hours "temporarily" BUT they should at least update on Google when they change their hours! A sign on the door is not helpful.

Long line only one checkout open. There was little to no organization. Perhaps that was due to people leaving their items and going after seeing the long wait or it could be people taking out a shelf of stuff and then going through each individual item and then just throwing it back I don't know ...was short-staffed

I thought long and hard about whether or not to write a review of my experience. About a month or so ago, maybe 3 weeks, I purchased various snacks. One was the pecan pin wheels. After eating some of the pecan rolls, I noticed mold on the side of the others 🤢🤮. I spoke with Stephanie, the store manager she said it looked like cinnamon. I disagreed. She said food items she cannot issue a refund for.Ummmm, if something is off with the product, OF COURSE you should! She said her manager specifically told her to process any refunds. I went home and wrote online to corporate of my experience.
Fast forward, last week bought various items, including 2 bags of hot Cheetos. I get home and eat 1 Cheetos and it was clearly stale. I have one to my teen, yep stale. I opened the other bag and ate one, it was fine. I called the store Stephanie answered. I explained who I was. The pecan rolls girl. I told her no one buys an item and opens it up to taste to see if it's fresh prior to leaving the store and I have yet another situation of something not up to standards. She interrupts me and says her manager spoke her and clarified that if something doesn't meet freshness standards, they will exchange the item for the exact same item at the store. She said I can bring it back.
I go back in a few days later and a African American man asked if he could help me, I asked for Stephanie. He quickly answered "She's not here how may I help you? I told him my issue and he said how was aware of my issue. He asked to look at the expiration date. Since the item was within the expiration date, he says I have to call the 800 number on the back of the bag of chips because it's not their issue it's the supplier. ??? I reiterated to him I was told to come back and exchange my item and he reiterated what he said. I explained to him that no one is coming to a store to buy something and if it's not good, they have to go through hoops to get their money back by calling a 3rd party for a dollar bag of chips. I also explained to him that if that is their policy they need to clearly post it on their receipt or on their doors notifying customers that if they buy any food items, and it's not fresh, and it's still within the expiration date, that they will have to contact the manufacturer. The customer must fully be aware of what they are purchasing and the terms of their purchase. He quickly said no he doesn't have to post that for customers to see. I told him I want to exchange my bag of chips. He said so that he's perfectly clear he will do it this time but in the future if something isn't fresh I have to call the number on the back of the bag.
This is my neighborhood Dollar tree store. I've been shopping here for many many years. I am embarrassed for the store to be at the location they are at and have such horrible customer service presence. It's truly unacceptable. So if anyone purchases any food at Dollar tree fair warning if the item is within the expiration date, you will have to contact the manufacturer yourself.
Shame on you Dollar tree for your lack of accountability.
I will drive out of my way to get what I need from other Dollar tree stores and will avoid this one.

Yes, I shop at dollar tree store and sometimes I can have a great experience but I felt like this lady was surveillance us because of the color of my skins. Following me on every aisle. That made me feel uncomfortable because I'm a child of the Most High. So this experience kinda uncomfortable. 06/07/24. The atmosphere has changed, pray that it has changed in a positive way. Respect all as equally.

Yes, I shop at dollar tree store and sometimes I can have a great experience but I felt like this lady was surveillance us because of the color of my skins. Following me on every aisle. I was at the store today and when I went to checkout there were at least 8 people in line with one checker. I saw the manager come out of the office, ignore the line, and go back in the office. By the time I got to check out the line had grown to 15 people. I learned it was the checker’s first day. She made a mistake and called for the manager who yelled from the office “you have to be louder than that.” I called out loudly “there are 15 people in line.” The manager had not come out after 5 minutes and I left after telling the checker she’s doing a great job and needs to look for different employment immediately. That was a terrible way to treat the employer and customers alike. Do better.

So i'm giving it a 3 because while in the store, I was helped by a WONDERFUL gentleman & was given above & beyond service. There wasn't an option to fill out a survey, so I called the store because I wanted to talk to a manager to tell them what a great experience I had. I was very disappointed at how rude the manager was when I had called just to tell her how fantastic her employee was. I had just been in there, so I knew the store hadn't been busy, so I don't know why she was so kurt. What a bummer experience after such a great one! Management needs to take notes from the other employees
