Have ALWAYS had excellent meat & seafood from Fareway on 90th & Center St. Especially their beef filets, cooked to med rare, melt in your mouth!! Yummy!

They never wear gloves when handling the meat. How do we know they washed their hands after using the bathroom??? Otherwise, good variety & pricing!

Of all the grocery stores in town, Fareway has the best meat consistently. Though this location is fairly new, I've shopped at various Fareways for 30 years. My parents and I used to own a small grocery store over in Iowa, so I know good stores when I see them. I also know the bad ones. There is a brand of grocers that I refuse to buy meat from. However, Fareway is the only place I feel has the quality, cleanliness, and consistency needed at every one of their locations. And they're affordable! For a "meat market", this store doesn't have quite the variety I was expecting. But I'll gladly trade that for the benefits of shopping where I know I can get the best quality for the money spent.

I don’t appreciate poor attitudes in a customer service related environment. (6pm on a Wednesday night, so not busy) A butcher should be happy to butcher a cut. I’d rather you lie to me and say you don’t have it instead of having a negative attitude while butchering. Also, their quality is overpriced for what it is, I’d rather drive the extra few miles down to Casanova in Rockbrook, at least I know I’ll get treated like an equal and pay a reasonable amount.

Apparently I'm invisible to the three employees behind the meat counter. Person in front of me got helped. Person behind me got helped. I stood and waited several minutes before finally being acknowledged. Then the clerk absolutely refused to sell me the two cuts of meat I wanted. I asked for a couple of bones to be cut off. I understood I would still need to pay for the entire weight of the steaks before the bone removal, and made it clear I was happy to do that. But he was unwilling. Two minutes with that butcher's bone saw you have in the back, would have taken care of it. Not happy. Not coming back.

It was understaffed and over busy when I went, one cashier for 15+ people. We ended up buying alcohol and she read off my and my plus ones date of birth to the whole store. My only plus side is the selection they had and the taste/quality of it was amazing!

I've used Fareway grocery stores especially the meat counter on and off for 5 years. This was my first visit to this location. It's an old school butcher shop, a section for wine and spirits and a check out counter. The guy who helped me was friendly and answered a couple questions quickly and in depth. The chuck roast was excellent in the crackpot for 8 hours on low. Their meat is the best I've found. The only downside was I wanted information on beef bundles. He said the don't offer bundles ATM because of market volatility. That was the only downside.

These guys tried to convince me that the tenderloin cut and the Filet Mignon was the same thing, even got the I've been doing this for 20years. Go to Frank's they actually know what they are serving, this place is a joke.

Very clean well laid out stores. Has all your essentials. Very nice produce section. But the best meat and deli section around. Meat is awesome, tender, mouthwatering with butchers on site to assist.Employees that are pleasant and helpful. They actually carry out the groceries and are respectful!!

I would drive From Fremont to get this meat. WTF HAPPPEN new manager. Picked up som filet's today on sale prime. One bite threw it away. There went 40 bucks. No flavor tough as nailed. Would even feed it to my dog. wTF fareway Wtf changed done with u dog.
