The mechanic I used take my car to retired, so I was looking for a new one to take my care too consistently. My car just crossed over the 100k mark so I wanted to have a trustworthy mechanic to get as much life out of my car as possible. I did some research and I got an oil change somewhere else at first and they gave me a pretty expensive quote after an inspection that I was a little dubious of.I wanted to get another opinion and my gf recommended I see Harold at GH Auto Repair. It turned out there were some things that needed replaced on my car, but the other company had those items priced much higher, and they also had additional things in the quote that weren't necessary.It's super refreshing to find an honest mechanic who does timely and very high quality work, especially in an industry that can be as shady as Automotive work. Harold also showed me all the old parts that he replaced which is really nice in an effort of full transparency.I highly recommend Harold at GH Auto Repair. Many times I feel like one of thee best benefits from my marriage is getting to have GH Auto repair as my new lifetime mechanic! Lol! There's really not enough good things to say about Harold and his quality of work. He fixed my brakes and suspension on a 2006 Nissan Murano, it felt new again! He also replaced the alternator in that vehicle, noticed a couple belts were worn and fixed them at no cost (mind you I'd used Harold for 3 yrs). If I had to pick my number 1 most liked aspect of Harold at GH Auto repair it's his honesty. In my opinion Harold is the most knowledgeable mechanic I've ever met and this attribute shows through his ability to find problems and fix them. Now let me be honest as well, his prices may be a bit higher than some of his competitors (uses correct parts). But as is always the case, you get what you pay for! Plus I've never had to go back because something wasn't right after repairs. And I've saved more money since using Harold because if it doesn't need fixed, he won't "fix" it and charge you for unnecessary work! Did I mention he was honest?? I've referred numerous coworkers who praise and thank ME for telling them about GH AUTO REPAIR. I recently had some work done by Harold at GH Auto Repair. Harold is truly a genuine person, and you can tell he cares about his customers.His high level of knowledge of automotive repair is clear just by talking to him about the project at hand. He was professional and courteous throughout the entire process, and gave very good advice for my project even though I was finishing the majority of the work on my own.Overall I am beyond satisfied with the experience.
