Goodwill employees keep donations in the backroom (valuable Golf equipment, expansive clubs, and bags) for their friends, so regular shoppers don’t have a chance.
I witnessed 3 times that Goodwill employees just keep valuable Golf equipment in the backroom and give it to one reseller (white male, around 6 ft, with a trucker hat, wearing a vest the gray pants). I have read the employee handbook in detail and know that this is a fireable offense.
The location: 201 N 78th St, Omaha, NE 68114
Time of happening: Sunday, Feb 9, 2025 between 3:05- 3:15 pm
As someone who shops at this location, I think it is gross and unfair to give or sell donations to your buddy. I just would like to know how I can get in contact with the right person because I am sure Goodwill’s security camera will be able to support my claim.
I would like to escalate it to the store manager and asset protection, and I want to stay private and request that they keep my information and proof confidential.

Bought a unique Christmas tree there today and want to give big compliments to one of your employees, Walter, who made the shopping experience even more fun. He was so helpful, he even located the box it came in and helped us get it loaded up. It's people like Walter who make your store the BEST!

This seems like a great place, and I've found some wonderful deals here. That being said, I bought a chair & ottoman set from them, and it apparently contained bed bugs! Now I'm having to take time off work to throw out the chair, clean the entire place, and pay an exterminator to spay my apartment...all out of my own pocket! I'm disappointed and very frustrated that this happens. I wish they'd check and/or treat incoming used furniture, but they don't.

I've loved going to this one but I just had the worst experience, my mom and I walked up and down the isles but once done we went to the CD section where a couple and their kid in a cart. I walk up and politely ask to look alongside them an the lady just flat out said no, they sere very rude, blocking the end cap with themselves and their cart with the child in it. When we just gave up we went to the register to talk to a manager and explained the situation, she just nodded her head and said she'd talk to them. When we walked out we peeked back in the windows and she just said a few words to them then walked away. I'm truly disappointed in their management and even their own customers.

This 5 star rating is for the cashier named Debra. She has helped me the last couple of times that I’ve visited this location. Her customer service skills are INCREDIBLE!! She genuinely enjoys her job and it shows. It’s so refreshing to have that quality of customer service. Goodwill is so lucky to have you!! Stay FABULOUS Debbie!

They are literally pricing things as the price of things that are brand new. I can go to a retail store and find these things for the same price. I thought Goodwill got their things for free? They are ripping people off.

I always find great clothing finds here rather then any other goodwills. I have no idea why. And the staff is super friendly. They don't have the best home goods but I mean it's good will. I do like coming to this one though.
