Just picked up a rental car that I’m supposed to have for a week. Not only was it not cleaned by the company but probably only clean by the last person who occupied it. It was not cleaned very well. It smells strongly of cigarettes and has animal hair throughout it. There were still spills and smudges all over the car as seen in the pictures. Cupholders had spills and food still in them and the steering wheel is still sticky like syrup or oil I don’t know, and then the vehicle doesn’t even have the navigation card. It’s an option, but apparently that has never been installed. We are a military family. We have rented many cars and have driven all over the world. I’ve never been in a rental car that does not have a navigation feature in it at least not in this decade. My card is being charged $500+ for this?!The agent who checked me out, wasn’t rude, but he also was not personable, and if I had to choose again, I would go with Enterprise rather than hertz.

I rented a Nissan kicks for a week due to repairs on my vehicle and Nathan and Summer did a great job helping me and explained the rental process. Very good service and would definitely come back!

I went to the location to pick up a rental car after an accident. Summer ('like the season' as she put it to me) was extremely rude and disrespectful. They had no cars available (even though my adjuster that made the reservation, confirmed they did). She was defensive and rude and kept asking me if i wanted to get on the 'waiting list' for a car. I asked her if i should already be on the waiting list because i have a reservation? She kept repeating. She also got very defensive telling me 'she NEVER talked to anyone from the insurance company and would like to know who theytalked to'. Very poor customer service! No offer to help solve the issue other than the 'waiting list'.

Horrible!!! Service is non-existing, long lines, no one responds to text messages, phone calls, emails, and their online web-portal doesn't work. While waiting in a long line, I was offered one of two available cars. After going through a long process, she grabbed a key walked out the door and pointed at the car on the other side of the parking lot. When I found the car using the panic alarm, it was dirty, and since it was 5 o'clock and another long line to talk with her again, I decided to wait on the pre-inspection report. After inspecting the car, we noticed a LOT of scratches on both bumpers, and at least one door ding and the hood was also damaged. The car was so dirty that we couldn't really tell if it was dirt or damaged? I tried multiple times to contact them but don't bother. They don't reply. After hours of attempting to talk to someone, nearly a day later, I finally got a hold of them , and the person who answered the phone told me that she didn't have time to listen to my rambling, she claims that they took pictures of the car prior to my rental agreement. I am now dependent on there photos to protect me against someone else's damage! They won't accept any other form of communication. I am now stressed that I will be responsible for the pre-existing damage!!!!!

Rude staff . I rented a car for one day. They originally charged me 250 deposit for a 1 day rental. After the rep didn’t hear what he wanted from me she went out of her way and now I have a 1000 deposit in a car rental with a bussiness card. Hung up on me for 3 hours . Filling a formal complaint in the morning Took 750 dollars with out any Authorization or previous acknowledgment of this happening. I’m on this trip and my account is just been trained by hertz associates due to the lack of respect for their customers or the lack of excepting feedback and criticism. This is some serious grounds for a lawsuit

Omaha location on 164th? is awesome. No b******* that I've gotten in other places on hidden fees. If you have insurance...you dont need there's! It's a rental, I don't need an up-sale! Thanks for being chill!

I got a cracked windshield and couldn't get it repaired before I returned the car because of shortages in windshields. I had trouble contacting them and took a couple of days and numerous trys. I returned the car and there days later they charged my credit card for insurance I didn't authorize, and they didn't use. Then they charged my credit card for what should of been a credit for points I used. Now the bill for the windshield comes in for almost $1,000 including two days they couldn't rent the car. This is two and a half times the cost of a windshield. These guys have no customer service, you can't get them on the phone, and they are crooks.

Very rude and highly unprofessional. Asked to check my Credit. Are you kidding me??? My credit is in a transition of being prepared. That’s personal information that you don’t ever forecast in front of other customers I was totally shocked and in dismay. I have money and got me a nicer rental from a better car rental company. Hertz will never ever get my business.

Ronnie deserves a raise. Called and asked for a sports car, didn’t have any. 30 minutes later she called me back saying they just got one, I told her thank you. Unbelievable 5 star service. I arrived and that girl and the guy working was handling several customers and the phone wouldn’t stop ringing. She multitasked her way to several sales while working with me, the computer and the phone. And the car, is amazing. Rockstar experience.
