The car was nice but we have been receiving charges for months after with no notification. When I called to discuss this I was sent a quick email with their policy and hung up on. If you unexpectedly go through a toll zone know you will be charged for the tolls plus fees. We have been searching the tolls weekly to pay for them and Hertz does it automatically and charges you a lot to do it.

The absolute worst from start to finish. Horrible customer service. I wouldn't recommend this location to my worst enemy. First, reservation was at 10 to pick up the vehicle. Arrived at 10 and was told the car I was renting was coming from the airport and would be 15 to 20 minutes before it arrived. Given I scheduled a 10 am reservation to accommodate for the rest of the day, this made everything back up and caused me to be late picking up my daughter from a school event to then leave town later than anticipated. When I asked why the car wasn't available at the 10AM reservation time I had scheduled, I was told the car I was to rent was dropped off with damage and he couldn't rent it to me. Never once apologized and at most points just awkwardly stared at me. Then the person that picked up the vehicle from the airport arrived with McDonald's breakfast, deciding it was OK to stop and get breakfast on my time. I was quoted a $250 hold that would release once the car was returned. When I called to ask why the $250 hold was still on my card I was told this is normal and banks can take up to 5 to 7 business days to release the hold, which is not what I was told when I rented. Never ever again. I would seriously be concerned if I were the Hertz company to even affiliate with this location.

We rented a car for 3 days over Thanksgiving. Everyone went ok except the car had not been cleaned before we rented it. Someone had smoked in the car and it was strong smell when heater heated the car. We were not pleased.

Truck had to go to the shop for service and while it was out of commission forrest was able to get me a nice truck for the meantime. He was quick and helpful and wasn’t trying to force me into any upsells that I didn’t want/need. Would come back

I was in Chicago for 2 weeks recovering from a serious surgery. I rented my wife a car from Priceline and paid extra to have collision insurance. When my wife showed up to get the car they talked her into purchasing the exact coverage I had already been charged for. I called you he location to ask if it could be removed and told Forest I could send proof I already paid for it and had been charged and his response was “I don’t see it on our end, I can’t do anything about it”. I feel like they were sneaky and pulled a fast one on my wife in a vulnerable situation. I am still dumbfounded that he not only wouldn’t accept proof from me, but was so short and quick to tell me he wouldn’t do anything for us. I’d rate it lower if I could.

The rental experience at this location was terrible from the moment I walked in. Forrest the store manager lack customer service skills and was very rude. The website doesn't state that this is a private owner of Hertz and not a corporation location that charges extra fees for smelly ran down vehicles. If I didn't have an important event to be to, I would've cancelled my reservation. For what I paid for and what I got a for my rental a 2018 Spark is reason I'll never make a reservation again at this janky location.

After I got into my car wreck I was in need of a rental, Hertz was just down the street so I called my insurance and walked to Forrest! He was fast and quick to get us our car rental! He was certainly friendly for 8AM! Car was great, cleaned, and it did not smell! Was in and out under 10 minutes! Would go see him again over Enterprise! Thanks again Forrest!

I have been going to this hertz for several years now and ever since Forest started managing it, the place has fallen off a cliff. He is worthless in every sense of the word. He can’t bill correctly, the cars are in disrepair, he can’t resolve issues and generally seems to have no idea what is going on or any sense of responsibility. I’m finding somewhere else.

Vehicle smelled AWFUL, ruined our trip. I declined to switch cars because I thought it would air out. They wouldn’t give any type of credit or pay for the numerous air fresheners I had to buy just to make the smell tolerable. Will NOT rent from them again.

I rented a car here from August 12-16 and they put a hold on my card for 250.00. Its now been 7 business days and the hold has not been released. Contacted the credit card company and they advised it has not been released on their end. Called them directly multiple times without an answer. I went to the store only to be advised that the rep would have to email the store owner for her to released the hold and that she had a lot on her plate. A guess a customer being out of 250.00 is not a lot on their plate and they have time to wait and waste waiting for something to be done that should of been done 7 business days ago not to mention I'm supposed to leave town again this Friday with my credit card being jammed up.
