Shop here often. Couldn't last time as we were having problems with ridiculous parking system. Time before we had trouble with it to. Honestly perfect set up for skimmer. Ended up in parking lot which of course is unmanned too paid 15 bucks for day only needed a couple of hours. We will be switching our shopping to only Sunday or better yet go to lincoln record stores.

Omaha's oldest and best record store! Hard to find vintage vinyl as well as the newest releases. Homer's also has cd's, cassettes, VHS, DVD, Blu-ray, turntables. I could go on but you get the idea.

Homers is the best record and cd store in all of the Midwest, they restock often and almost always have something that will catch your eye.

I worked at Homer's in the late 1980s when vinyl was king, and we all also had tape decks in our cars and boomboxes. And then CDs came in, with their bright new digital sound, and we bought those. And Homer's Records and Tapes changed with the times and became Homer's Music and Gifts. And then music was online and it was free! Well, stolen maybe, and that was a big blow to record stores and to artists. And then, somehow, people started to remember how things had just sounded better, all along, on vinyl. And you could hold this in your hands, and enjoy looking at the cover, and if you were lucky there would be an inner sleeve with lyrics. And sales of new vinyl LPs went from barely 1 million in 2006 to 49 million in 2023! And Homer's is still here, with new and used vinyl, tapes, CDs, and the gifts. I walked by there on Record Store Day 4/20/2024, and the line stretched around the building! Vinyl is BACK, and Homer's, like it always has been, is the place to get it.

Moved mountains to ensure I got an album order even when there was a distribution issue and even though it wasn’t their fault. It’s a very good reason to not go anywhere else, except for very specific releases that are artist’s online store only releases. Big box stores wouldn’t have helped me out like Homers did.

Homers is a staple of the area and always a pleasure to visit. The staff is always professional and laid back, the store is just so fun to browse and there's literally always something I want to leave with. Cannot recommend highly enough!

My go to record store, this place is awesome! The only downside is that sometimes I can smell pot. Depending on who you are that's not a downside.

Great selection of vinals. Which is what we went there for. Classics and newer music options. Slightly condensed and out of date decor, expected at downtown shops that have not gone through recent renovations. Staff was friendly and helpful. Paying for our item did take a bit of a wait due to POS issue for customer ahead of us. Overall a great place if you're into musical media options. Would definitely recommend!??
