Lakeside Hills Park is a beautiful park with amazing views of the surrounding areas. It features big open spaces, a small but functional playground for kids, and a grill. The trail is easy to walk and offers a beautiful sight. Visitors enjoy coming to walk around, soak up the sun, and get fresh air. The park is very dog friendly, though dogs must be kept on a leash and owners must pick up poop. Some visitors miss the birds and wildlife that were once there and note that feeding is not allowed. A common drawback is that there are no restrooms or portapotties available. The water in the lake could be cleaner, and during certain seasons, there can be a lot of goose and duck droppings on the walkways. Historically, the lake has been used for fishing, with some very big fish caught there, and for feeding the ducks.
Easy to walk the trail. Nice water fountains. Beautiful sight. I miss some of the birds and wildlife that was there. No feeding! Water could be cleaner!
Dog-friendliness: Keep dogs on leash, pick up poop.
