Lied Jungle

Hours: Lied Jungle at Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo is a wonderful and beautiful exhibit, a must-visit for nature lovers. It offers an immersive experience and rainforest setting, making visitors feel like they are really stepping into the wild or a rainforest. The immersive environment is complete with waterfalls, exotic plants, and incredible foliage. Animals like monkeys, birds, and bats are neat to see, with many species free-roaming in the open air. The space is warm, humid, and muggy, adding to the authentic jungle feel. There is an upper canopy level with easy walking on wide paths and a lower jungle floor with a dirt path, connected by elevators for accessibility. The exhibit features a bridge to walk across, observation caves, and many updates. It is a stunning, spacious, and very well-done biome where you forget you're in a zoo. It is highly recommended as a fantastic experience for the whole family, providing so much to learn and such fun for all.
