As a former vendor, I would not recommend to new vendors coming. The management is very toxic. There have been several situations where the person in charge acted very unprofessional and caused a situation to escalate and had even lied on me SEVERAL times. There was another time when she tried to move me from my spot to a spot people could hardly see my product even though I was originally signed up for the first spot. I don’t know if the lady is racist but she acts very unprofessional. Also, I did NOT feel safe. There is no security at these markets. Homeless people would randomly enter my booth and ask for water. One person was exposed and I almost left. Do better for your vendors. Unsafe environment. And the city of Omaha needs to do something for the homeless like provide mental help. The Old Market is not what it used to be. It’s very sad.

The atmosphere is to die for! But we're there for the SNAP- food stamp program for the fresh produce. You spend $20, but they double it to $40 for you to spend while saving money and bettering your health. Another great program that not enough people know about.

Love the Old Market Farmer's Market! There's an amazing selection of vendors that come and there's plenty to do downtown for before or after. It's the best way to spend a summer Saturday in Omaha!

A wonderful collection of vendors offering fresh produce, artisan goods and delicious meats and cheeses. Most vendors also accept the Double SNAP tokens, so you really can't lose!

Parking is tight, which is to be expected with such turnout. Great stands and booths with amazing food.

The downtown farmers market used to be my number 1 go to market since I lived there, but I have since grown more fond of Aksarben market. This one is still good but I've found the selection of vendors isn't as nice. The parking also isn't free unless you're there between 8:00-09:00 am. All that aside it's a fun experience walking the old brick streets and the performers make it exciting for children. If you only got to pick one market to go to however I'd say skip this one and hit up the Sunday market at Aksarben.

Omaha Farmers Market in Old Market downtown had a great variety of quality booths with really good artists, food to eat, fresh vegetables, lovely flowers, soaps, quality art and crafts!Went on a gorgeous sunny October Saturday, the crowd had a pleasant vibe, live music playing (good buskers), and the surrounding beautiful old brick buildings were splendid. Honestly, I’ve been to so many farmers markets across the country from east coast to west coast, and the end this was one of the best. The quality of the products was great! Didn’t see any tacky booths. Saw at least three stands that had the freshest most beautiful bok choi I’ve seen -can’t even get bok choi that good at Whole Foods, lol.

I really enjoy going to the old market, there is plenty to do, food, coffee, ice cream, and spirits, and if you like to read they have a book store on Jackson St, that you must go and see.

Very fun experience. There are not as many vendors as I have seen in past years, but bonus there is now a mushroom vendor! I am excited to go back again to try different vegetables.
