Omaha Children's Museum

Hours: The Omaha Children's Museum is a participatory museum for children and families, engaging the imagination through permanent and traveling exhibits, programs, and events. It is described as an amazing and cool place with absolutely all kinds of different hands-on learning activities that would suit any and all kids. The museum features a special toddler-only area, perfect for little crawlers and kept safe from bigger children, with age-appropriate toys. Amenities include a nursing pod, changing tables, and a system for cleaning toys. The staff is noted as being super friendly and helpful. While the toddler area is largely enclosed, one entrance has swinging saloon doors which can allow small children to wander. Visitors find it a wonderful experience where children learn by playing and often do not want to leave. It is a place where even parents and grandparents have fun, and children are left happy, excited, and wanting to return all the time. Admission is required for all visitors except members and children under 24 months old.
