“This hardware store has a small town feel. It is dated and a tad bit more expensive, but you get that small town hospitality treatment when you shop here. They make you feel like you are family. Some things are worth paying a little more for depending on what is important to you.”

I am a DIYer, and one of the fine finish professionals I follow and who helped guide me through my pursuit of learning my Apollo HVLP sprayer, uses Renner.
Renner is an amazing product, while pricey, I as a non-pro was able to turn our oak bar cabinet into a beautiful, smooth as butter texture finish - once I learned what settings I needed, distance, pace, number of passes on the same pass to ensure the same coverage throughout the surface, etc.
David and his team have been very helpful and patient as I poke through the exploration of this new talent I have learned.
It is always a pleasure to go in to pick up new product, and visit with them. They have a variety of other products as well including Benjamin Moore, deck products, painting supplies, etc.

“We first met the employees of the Sherwin Williams store at 181st + R through our favorite painters, Weitzke Painters. That was a year ago. Since then most of the interior of our house has been painted. It looks fantastic. Recently a bathroom remodel presented us with quite a challenge. Dan, Ryan and the entire crew have been so helpful. Today Ryan mixed the perfect color just in time for our painting scheduled for tomorrow. These Sherwin Williams employees could teach a thing or two about customer service to a whole lot of people. “I wanted to say a big thank you to Andrea for helping me out today. Wife and I have been in this store a few times for house painting projects but today I was in there for corporate branding projects. I came in with a Pantone Color Matching System that printers use and was looking to match a color palette I had set up for a client. Inks and paints are not even close to the same. Andrea was quick to explain the differences and had some great recommendations. She used her swatch finder to scan my Pantone books and we found several options of paint that matched. Four were spot-on and two were too close for anyone not in the industry to notice.
She even kept her cool with the store being so busy. I think I started out 8th in line and she was mixing paint, working the register, stocking the storage room and helping customers.
I was in there for an hour. Kinda knew I would when I pulled into a parking lot full of painting vans.”
“I am truly pleased with them. Had some spots on the ceiling from a leaky roof we had to fix. Thought I would need to repaint the whole thing. They recommended a spot covering spray and a follow up paint that was designed to match the drywall color. Worked perfectly. I can't even see where the I touched things up.”
“The only place I could find that had spraymax 2k in the finish that I needed. Service was very friendly especially since I came in within the last hour. Good with kids as well. If I need another can of the clear I'll definitely check here first before I go anywhere else.”
