Hours: The Salvation Army Omaha Kroc Center is the largest community center of its kind in Omaha. Comprised of four major components -- a center of worship; performance and special events venue; an aquatics center, fitness and recreation center; and an arts and education center – the Kroc Center offers multiple fitness, dance, yoga, aquatics, arts and music classes for all ages from youth to teens to older adults, plus Sunday morning worship service, Bible study, women's ministries and special events. Facilities and amenities include: a competition/lap pool, family pool with water slides, multi-use gymnasium, KidZone childcare, state-of-the-art fitness equipment, weight and stretching rooms, an indoor walking track and more. The staff at the Kroc Center is described as wonderful, compassionate, and understanding, with particular praise for Windy, Geo, Mike, Chrystal, and Chima. The Christian-based environment is said to enhance mental well-being, and the proper equipment helps with proper body conditioning.
