Love this place. All the animals are so nice and friendly. The staff and owners are amazing!! Took my kiddo to see the foxes while we were there because he wanted to pet a fox. Simply amazing. I recommend everyone to go there.

Can’t say enough wonderful things about this magical place! We had a great stay via harvest hosts! Joy and her team rocked it! The animals were all so awesome, well cared for and it was such a fun experience to wander around and meet them all! If we are ever in the area again we will return to play!
Scatter Joy Acres is a 15-acre urban Animal Therapy/Rescue ranch in Murray, NE. Our certified AAT program provides help for those in greatest need in our community: at-risk children, the developmentally disabled, seniors, homeless, the mentally ill, veterans, and those re-entering society.
We rescue and foster abused, neglected and abandoned animals. Those we that don’t find loving forever home are trained to become therapists in our Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) program.
We are also open as a petting zoo for you to come and interact with the animals. Bring a picnic lunch and enjoy in our play area. Field trips for schools and company outings.
