“Our children have already lived in 3 and 4 states at their young ages - which means we've been to several daycares/preschools. This is our first Montessori experience and both my children have thrived here - one started at age 2 (now 4) and one at age 4.5 (now 6.5). My older child, who only had the benefit of one year in Montessori, grew so much and was more than prepared for kindergarten - so prepared that the public school kindergarten structure bored him a bit. He's back at the Montessori part-time this summer (post-kindergarten) and fit right back in. He is able to play with his friends from last year and engage in work at his individual level. My younger child has had the benefit of being at Montessori Academy of West Omaha for 2 years, with one more year before kindergarten - she is excelling.What truly separates this center from other centers are the teachers and size of the school. Several of the teachers have been with the school for years, which not only demonstrates their ability and experience as Montessori-trained teachers, but also speaks to the work environment. We ultimately chose this school because it has one toddler room and one primary room - the center operates like one big family. The kids know all of the teachers at the school and the transition for my younger child from the toddler room to the primary room was seamless. In our previous centers, transitions to new rooms for my son were always stressful - but the natural integration of kids and teachers at the whole-school level here eliminates that challenge. At our most recent center out of state, daycare was a daily source of anxiety for my children and me. It has been a relief not to worry about my kids anymore and for them to walk confidently into school each morning - to the point they forget to give me a hug. I'll take it.The teachers and center director (Ms. Christine) care about each child and each family. They communicate well with parents and are flexible with families. During the pandemic, we have had variable care for our kids, and they were willing to work with me to let both of my children attend this summer (also, their handling of the pandemic/infection control has been excellent and makes me comfortable sending my children).”

“My kids have been in this daycare since it opened In 2022. The staff is amazing and every single provider knows my child by name. My kids run in to see their favorite teachers and friends in the morning. The staff is also so responsive and I never have to guess what is going on with my kids. The directors are unlike any other I’ve encountered and they care so deeply for each and every one of the families that attend the daycare. I feel so lucky to have gotten my kids into Stonebridge.”

“I highly recommend Quality Career Pathways for CMA class. Very easy to do online class. For classroom time we had Deb for an instructor & she was awesome!!! She teaches real life situations and gives great advice. Deb is very sweet and so much fun! Gives you all the information you need to pass. I enjoyed it so much, first time talking a class & test, & not being nervous at all cause of Deb!”

“I absolutely love this center. As a previous childcare worker I know the ins and outs about childcare and Sherri and her staff are AMAZING. My children have always been with me at every center I have ever worked at and I was nervous dropping my daughter off on her first day and she has never been in a center without momma but the staff did an amazing job of making me feel comfortable and reassured me that she was in very good hands. I love the parent teacher connection that the teachers have. I love that this center is accredited, the teachers are very loving. I highly recommend this center. I love how two times out of the year the center has a work training day to better their knowledge. I love how when you walk in you automatically know who the teachers are, they are dressed very professionally. I would give this center a million stars for their rating.”

“This La Petite is truly incredible. My time working here was unfortunately pretty short lived due to a very unexpected emergency which caused me to move states, but the staff here are wonderful people who truly care about the kids. My daughter attended here as well, and she absolutely developed amazing skills so quickly! Every evening I was so impressed with what she had learned that day. Kids hands (even babies!) get washed frequently, the rooms and toys are cleaned and sanitized every night, and tables are cleaned after every meal, laundry is done everyday, which I have not seen many other daycares/learning centers do. The best place for your child to be while you're working, and truly the best job I have ever had!! I honestly can't rave about La petite enough, highly recommend to anyone who needs care for their little one or who needs a job with an incredible staff who makes you feel like family.”

“I have been here many times, and usually, I go to Spanish masses in South Omaha. Every time I come to this church, I love how the priest explains the mass. The atmosphere is great. People are very friendly, kind, and welcoming. Here is just so beautiful to see how organized they are to receive Eucharist "bread and wine." People would stand up and move to the left side or right to lead people to pass by. Gracias por su buen servicio.”

“We moved to Omaha during the pandemic and sent our daughter here after being out of daycare for 4 months. We didn’t know anybody, and it was hard on us to move from family and friends and put our daughter in a completely new center. The staff and teachers made this so easy for us, I never once was nervous about sending her and she immediately felt welcome. It made my mama heart so happy and at ease. Love kindercare in general but this center has been great to us!”

The staff have really gotten to know our daughter, they are great at communicating with us, and our daughter thrives in this environment. They do so many enriching activities and encourage skill development right when the baby is ready. It's been a really special thing for us to have our daughter attend HOM. Highly recommend.”

“We have been extremely happy with Child’s World. We tried a couple other daycares before this one and while there are good people most places, the structure of the program and consistency of staffing at Child’s World has really helped our shy little guy grow. He knows he gets to see Miss Jackie and Miss Stefanie every morning and looks for their cars in the parking lot when we pull in. I never feel bad about dropping him off, which I sometimes did at other daycares because he would get overwhelmed by yelling children, unfamiliar staff, and inconsistent routines. We also had a brief experience in the infant program here, which was also wonderful. There is great communication and kind, hard-working staff in both programs. The only reason we didn’t keep our infant here was the availability of our family to help take care of him. If you can make the higher tuition rates work for your family, I would strongly recommend the investment in your child’s development.”

“Spellman has a lovely staff and an incredible early childhood education program! This was the first time my daughter was in a daycare facility, and she fell in love. She was very apprehensive at first and I couldn't stop feeling like it was too soon for her. But the teachers were so understanding and supportive during drop-offs. The daily routine and lesson plans they had really struck a chord with my 5y/old. My daughter would come home and tell me what she learned usually accompanied by an art project of some sort. The most difficult part was more my fault when through lingering illness or school schedule I didn't have her attend regularly.This also might be more obvious to some, but I didn't know at first; if you're working with the state you HAVE to stay on top of the days you miss. You are allowed a certain amount per month, anything over that they will charge per day. Spellman does have an excellent facility and program and they do charge to match the value.FAVORITES: All school materials included, Lunch included, the Summer program has weekly field trips, and Kindergarteners get a graduation ceremony in the spring!POSSIBLE CRITIQUES: (Much like everywhere) they seemed a little short-staffed.”

“Hands down the best daycare on town! Ms. Ally is a great leader and her team is absolutely wonderful. Our son had/has severe food allergies and the kindercare staff has gone above and beyond to ensure his safety. Ms. Zoe created allergy friendly trail mix for him and Ms. Vivi had his own chair ordered so he would be separated from any allergens. Our son loves going to school and learns so much! We can’t recommend this facility enough - we know it’s a place where kids are safe and can grow.”
