I came to this branch to switch my name over after I got married because it is on the route between my two jobs. They said they would mail me a new card in the mail with my married name. When I received the new card it had my maiden name still on it. So I called and asked why my maiden name was still on my card and the personal banker apologized and said I would need a new card number if I changed my last name (which is not true the only time you would need to be issued a new card number is if there was fraud on the card, which there was not) I did not want to argue about this so I proceeded to express that I have bills coming off of that card and would like to avoid trying to figure out which bills where coming directly off my card relative to which ones were linked directly to my checking account. At this point I was hoping the personal banker would pull up my account and let me know which recurring bills were coming off my debit card. He did not to this, unfortunately. What he did do was tell me that if I had the card printed at the Farnam location that I would have the exact same card number, with my married name, and automatic payments would not be interrupted. He also said that my current debit card would be inactive until I went and picked up my new card which they would have activated for me. Later in the day I went to pick up my new card, I asked if it was activated & they said yes. So I go to use my new card and it will not run as debit because they did not have me set up a pin. Which is not a huge deal but still another thing I need to call to figure out now.Fast forward to today, I am receiving emails of a declined card on several recurring payments. Why is this? Because the expiration date changed when they printed my new card! It’s not that the banker was not extremely nice, he unfortunately just does not know how to do his job. This caused me so much unneeded hassle and stress where if he could have told me that my recurring payments would need to be updated regardless he could have just let me know over the phone who I needed to call to make the appropriate changes. I have worked incredibly hard to get my credit score to 800 so it causes me a great deal of stress not knowing what bills will go through and what bills will get declined.Changing your name should not be such a tedious task. It took me 10 minutes to get my Wells Fargo credit card switched over and have had 0 issues. I thought my experience at security national would be the same.

Went there yesterday because I was having trouble using online banking for my small non-profit business. I was given great service by a patient, smart, and understanding banker. Very cool people work here.

My time is important. Clearly not to this attempt at a bank.
