I came in with a Sephora foundation that had been discontinued a year ago, and was looking for a match. I met with an associate named Christine, who did a perfect color match and was so friendly and helpful! I do feel like the customer service is a bit hit and miss depending on who is working, but overall it’s a great store.

My 15 year old son is a non speaking Autistic person and only one or two of your employees would help us find an appropriate cologne for him. Thank goodness for male, teenaged shoppers who were strangers. These young customers were so helpful, spraying different testers for my boy to smell and saying encouraging things to him.
I wish my own experience had been better. I am a woman in her 50’s who has always loved makeup but I haven’t bothered for quite a while because my son takes every ounce of energy I have. Today I decided to have a facial at a salon and then treat myself to some new cosmetics. The first woman who assisted me was Kim, a cute, petite Latinx person. I gravitated towards her because I am biracial (white and black) and I thought she might have more insight into what I was looking for. So, we chose cologne for my boy and a tinted spf for me. I told her that obviously I would need a big color palette for shadows and an eyebrow pencil that makes realistic looking brows (I plucked most of mine out in the 80’s. Stupid, yes, but quite fashionable). She said that she was going to the back to check the stock. I said that we would wait right there for her. Meanwhile,, my son, who is very sensitive to noise and crowds and smells, was on his best behavior. After 30 minutes had gone by, my husband spotted her across the store. We hurried over to her to express our thanks but her hands were empty. I asked her where the shadows and blushes and brushes were and she said that she didn’t believe I really wanted anything so she just took a bathroom break instead. I was gobsmacked. I asked her what could have given her that idea. She said that it was because she saw me moving away from her as she walked to the back of store. I explained that, because she was going to get things for me, I had to go back to the one quiet corner where my son and husband were, waiting to reassure them that I would be ready to go, soon. This associate just stared at me and refused to give anymore clarification and certainly no apology for making us wait while she “went to to the bathroom”. I came prepared to spend at least $2000 in Sephora tonight with a smile on my face and instead, paid $110 for some cologne recommended by teenaged customers and nothing else.
I am the farthest thing from devout and I’m not a prude but this associate should be drug tested. This entire experience felt very OFF.
Thank you,
Julie Hofstetter

Unbelievably Rude and Unprofessional Staff
I’ve been a loyal Sephora Rouge member since the customer tiering system began, and I’ve visited stores across multiple states. Never have I encountered a Sephora experience as hostile and exclusionary as this one in Omaha.
The employees I interacted with—and the ones I overheard assisting others—were shockingly rude, dismissive, and condescending. Their behavior did not align with Sephora’s stated ethos of inclusivity and excellent customer service. Instead, they projected an elitist, exclusionary attitude, appearing to judge customers based on appearance before deciding whether to offer assistance. This was not just my experience—I witnessed similar treatment of several other customers, though I may have been the only one to speak up about their unacceptable behavior.
The audacity of these employees to treat customers as if they were unworthy of basic courtesy is staggering. They acted as though interacting with customers was a favor they were begrudgingly offering, rather than the very basis of their job. Such attitudes wouldn’t be acceptable from anyone, let alone employees of a brand that prides itself on accessibility and diversity.
If this behavior reflects the store’s management strategy, they are gravely mistaken. Creating a toxic, exclusionary atmosphere will only drive customers away—not foster loyalty. Sephora, as a brand, needs to reevaluate what’s happening at this location because it’s a glaring departure from its otherwise positive reputation.
To the employees at this store: you’re not projecting sophistication or elitism; you’re demonstrating unprofessionalism and disrespect. It’s a bad look, and worse for the brand you represent.
Avoid this Sephora. Save your time, energy, and money for locations where customers are treated with the respect they deserve. This store is an embarrassment to the Sephora name.

I made an appointment to get my eyebrows waxed before my wedding. I got a call this morning, two hours before my appointment saying that the person that was supposed to do my brows isn’t coming into work. & that the next available time was next sunday. I get MARRIED TOMORROW! I know things happen and sometimes it’s out of our control. However, I’m frustrated with the situation regardless.

I recently placed an online order at Sephora and opted for curbside pickup. When I arrived, I had difficulty finding any designated “Sephora Pickup” stalls or parking, even after driving around the complex a couple of times. I checked in online and noted my location, but I was unsure about my parking spot. So, I called the store and explained that I was parked with my flashers on, on a side street that wasn’t busy. The person on the phone assured me it wasn’t a problem and someone would come right out.
About 10 minutes later, an associate brought my order but was quite rude. She informed me that “Next time, you can’t park here. You have to park in the designated parking area or we won’t be able to help you.” I explained it was my first time picking up an order and that I had driven around twice looking for those parking spots before parking where I did. I also mentioned that I had already cleared it with the person I spoke with on the phone, but she could have handled the situation much more kindly, especially since I had followed protocol by calling beforehand.
Next time, I’ll be sure to look more thoroughly for the designated spots, but I hope the staff is more understanding in the future. Especially as everyone knows that parking is a nightmare here.

My wife and I decided to give sephora another try after experiencing employees ignoring us. We thought that the prior visits rudeness was from the shop being busy but today there were almost no customers. The first two were having a conversation with each other next to the door when we walked and as we went farther back and another employee looked straight at us and continued whatever she was doing without even saying hello. Rude and sooo unprofessional. Won't return.

Honestly this is my personal favorite Sephora to go to for many reasons. All of the staff are just so nice and helpful if I ever need anything. The store is always organized and easy to navigate. Also the testers are usually cleaned which I really appreciate if I want to use them. The products I am looking for are usually in stock. They have new releases right away, and a good quantity of them. Also it is pretty close to me so it's easy to go to. Another great thing is the ladies there always give me samples in my bag when I make a purchase, and I LOVE samples! Once I wrote a letter to this location for a school business letter project, and a girl named Ashtyn who works there responded and wrote the sweetest letter and also sent some samples. It made me so happy. I have never had a bad experience there and this store will always be my go-to. This specific Sephora is really good, and I would recommend it over others.

Do not buy cologne sampler set where u get a free full size bottle for buying 90 dollars worth of samples. They refuse to provide the full size bottle, so basically spend 90 dollars tiny samples that should be free!
