Bought overpriced item less than 48 hours ago from them as a mothers day gift and I have since gotten 9 emails, In under 48 hours. (3 were legit - we got your order, your order is ready for pickup, thank you for picking up the order and the rest were unsolicited spam.

Terrible experience. I had ordered shoes online and had a fabulous experience but I visited the Pacific Place location. I love their merchandise. Yet, every time I found items to try on I couldn’t get any help thereafter. I even kept asking for different sizes and no one would help. There were 4 employees, one customer and myself. The employees were just chatting socially. I finally told them how disappointed I was and how I had items I wanted but their customer service just wasn’t there. No comment from any of them. I won’t be back.

What a great shopping trip to Talbots! I love this location, it's huge and always has a great selection. The employees are so friendly and helpful. There are always sales and this time I hit the jackpot! So many outfits and saved a bunch too! I love that I can stop at Talbots and not be bothered with all the "mall" stores!

I had never shopped at Talbots before. I went because I was looking for quality clothing, but not super expensive. The fall of 2022, I found really nice sweaters and jeans and I thought , nice place , nice staff. Fast forward to April 22, 2023 and you go in and there's not much selection for petite styles, there was more for miss styles and I asked if they had miss' selection in petite, they said we didn't get any in, so go to our website, was the answer. Their website has all sorts of New items but I didn't see them in the store and they should properly display them on mannequins. I didn't see any dresses or skorts, linen jackets, so what are they selling? Clothes I wouldn't buy!Now the staff that day were older women, that's not the issue, but their attitude.Yes they got me a room, fineOne lady answered my questions, she was helpful, called Eva.But when this Eva asked an older associate a question, (she the other older associate)just seemed so rude. She didn't speak or look up , just shook her head)There was only one cashier and she had a line of 8 people she was taking care of and by the time I got there, she thought there were no other people and then saw me threw down the clothing she had in her hands as if disgusted. I didn't hear from her, did you find what your looking for, no politeness,very unpleasant woman.Furthermore, I was disappointed in the clothing they have there, it's the kind of clothes that will make you look older and styles you shouldn't wear, some pieces looked pretty good but you could find them at target or khols that's where this place is headed.i didn't see a price cheaper than $89 for a simple blouse or khaki pants.The employees are just dressed in their Saturday clothing, how can they reflect a well polished look if they are dressed in worn out clothes that make them look frumpy and have no understanding of style.Their website says they offer consulting on wardrobe, these ladies don't know how to dress themselves. I don't know why they have people there if they are not happy dealing with customers, they have that face of not wanting to be there.Chicos next door is more inviting and seem to be more accessible, as a customer, they offer items Talbots doesn't.I will go back in a few months to see if anything has changed and I will let you know.Check it out yourself!

Eva at Talbot's on Pacific has the best customer service ever. She got on the phone when the POS wasn't working and demanded to know why I couldn't get a return. She even asked to talk to their supervisor. She called the next day to confirm that I received my refund and receipt. She went ABOVE and BEOYND! Thank you, Eva!!!!!

Is the staff aware of the fact that they are suppose to assist customers? They seem to just hold their breath hoping you will get out of their store so they can carry on. This is so stale and does not promote the fresh crisp congenial image so associated with Talbots. Now would be a good time to have a change of guard. I agree with the other poster.

I recently visited my local Talbots store here in Omaha to exchange a Pima Tee I'd purchased online for a larger size. The ladies who helped me with the exchange couldn't have been more gracious. I had forgotten what a pleasant experience it is to shop in-store, and am looking forward to shopping there again in the future.
