Update: I did receive a call from Tom personally and we spoke about what transpired. Tom was not the person I spoke with as mentioned in the previous post. It was another associate that I had been speaking with. Tom and I had a positive conversation and how things could have been handled differently. Tom was open to hearing all of my concerns, and I appreciate him hearing me out. Prior to the most recent event, I have had no issues with State Farm. I have NOT been asked to remove my review or change in anyway, this update review is solely based on having Tom personally reach out to me to discuss my concerns.Thank you Tom for making your customers concerns a priority.

My wife and I recently separated and called to see how I could remove her from my policy since she was no longer residing at my address. Tom then started asking questions about how the home was going to be divided??? I stopped Tom letting him know he was going further than what I was asking. He stated that he would need to talk to Abbey since he was unfamiliar with how it worked. My question is, if Tom was unfamiliar with how it works why would he keep asking questions? Tom stated that I would be getting a call from Abbey, which I never did ONLY to find out that they had contacted my wife saying, "I'm sorry to hear about your divorce". Obviously my wife was caught off guard and led her to believe that's what I was seeking. This comment was VERY unprofessional and VERY reckless. Divorce was NEVER mentioned. I am still in shock that they would even make a comment without thinking of the consequences it might have. As a result, I have switched insurance companies, due to Tom and Abbey NOT being able to act in a professional manner which is very disappointing.Michael M.

Tom has been our State Farm agent for over 20 years. He has helped us get the best rates on our home and cars. Recently we wanted to restructure our vehicle policy, now that we have adult children. Tom and his staff were very knowledgeable and helpful. We switched our parents over to State Farm for their home and car insurance, because we feel Tom is always available to help out. We highly recommend Tom Demory for your insurance needs.

Very disappointed in the lack of personal service that State Farm is known for. I never received a call from my agent’s office and when I reached out with questions I did not get a follow up with answers. Would give a zero for this particular event but the mechanics do not allow for that which is why it is one star.After initial post I received multiple contacts and all questions answered as well as briefed on next steps. Tom and his office have always done a great job and the follow up provided shows they care and are dedicated to me and my welfare. I have updated my stars to the full five
