This is my favorite post office to go to. The counter staff are great - they're friendly, fast, knowledgeable, funny - even when it's a busy season and there's no way to keep up with the volume. I haven't had a bad experience here yet. It's surprising to see any negative reviews, but it looks like some are misdirected.It always amazes me how many customers and staff here are on a first name basis with each other, and talk about recent things in Elkhorn. Like, I'm actually jealous of that.If I could use USPS for everything in my home business, I'd be here 6 days a week. Best PO in the area! ?

There is a great delivery man works at this facility, he has an incredible talent of delivering important mail, just not to you. However, believe it or not his accuracy of trash/junk/useless mail delivery is 100%. I mean he is so good at it, if he doesn't deliver trash mail to you he will go back and find that mail for you. Now, when it comes to delivering mail such as... I don't know... social security number, he just clothes his eyes and throw that mail at the random box. Because why would one want social security mail delivered to him? Wouldn't I prefer to go the social security office and waste couple of hours of my life just sitting and waiting? Yes, yes I would, according to that guy. Then they wonder why people hate USPS.

Spoke with a really nice representative when handling my issue but I do not seem to remember his name. Anyways, my package arrived at their facility a day after it was suppose to be delivered. When tracking the package, it stated 'wrong address' and was going back to sender. I looked at the address to ensure it was correct and to my surprise, it had the wrong zip code. When speaking with the representative about the issue, he was very professional and sympathetic about the situation. He stated since it was scanned that morning while attempting to deliver, he would put in a message to the facility about changing the zip code to the correct one. He added that they would only call me if they was an issue about changing the zip code... As of this morning, it is currently being sent back to sender. Postal service is a joke.

None of you have a clue. The USPS is being systematically dismantled by some congressional leaders so it can be sold to one of there cronies. If you think it’s bad now just wait a while. One more thing Dejoy the postmaster general will be among those trying to steal this from you

Have now delivered 6 packages in the last week, to find the put them at the wrong house, or never was delivered at all ( time that says they were dropped off, door bell camera says no one came at all a hour before the time or a hour after)

Mailladys slower then hell she doesnt even attemtp to approach your door for packages that have to be signed for

Called the post office today to ask if they located my package (3rd one they misplaced in the last month) Lady on the phone asked if I spoke with Mike previously and that he was waiting to hear back from carrier. I gave her the tracking number again and she said oh, its in your mailbox. I said ok, the last time you "forgot" to deliver it was on my front door step. She proceeded to hang up but didnt actually hang up - "You should probably check your mailbox before you call us, dont you think?!" NO! You should probably hang up the phone before talking sh**! You should also have called me back to tell me that you delivered the package 6 days later! You should also quit LOSING MY PACKAGES!!!!!!!!!!!

Completely useless, I've had multiple packages delivered to my house and then all the sudden my address is inadequate.... I don't know why USPS exist, they lose money yearly and they can't even deliver your mail...

Even after hours, this post office is pretty much old school. Post office boxes are available for mail pick up. Even during the heavy traffic hours, parking spots are available even though this facility is older than other small towns. The employees are always pleasant when. You do walk inside. The feel reminds me of a country town post office even though Elkhorn is incorporated with the city of Omaha. I believe because of the location, others will prefer to travel to larger facilities. Since damaging my vehicle last week at the West Omaha post office parkimg lot off of 84th, I will be using this driveway to drop off my mail from now on.

Purchase money orders very frequently. The last two months have been a rip off. I requested to have a certain amount on the m/o & received a different amount. Before I leave noticed the wrong amount on the money order. Must I remind you the usps charges a lot for m/o. They charged me all over again for a new money order even though it was their mistake. It's not about the money order fee it's about ripping customers off. And they keep putting other people's mail in my po box

On two separate occasions, I've had mix ups with my mail being sent to the wrong address (entirely my own fault) and both times I've called the post office directly and they've been extremely helpful. I feel as though they went above and beyond what was expected to help me and track down my package.

Extremely frustrated with this location. Moved from Lincoln a year ago where I never had an issue. They have neglected to pick up packages several times, leaving them on the front step.
