VCA 80 Dodge went above and beyond to help our dog Lucy Lu. We are grateful to have a caring and empathetic staff that took care of her when she was sick. This clinic cares deeply about the animals. I would highly recommend them.

Care is fine, they did a good job with my dog. Prices are way too high and they try to get you to do every possible service they can. Always taken aback by how much each visit costs, even when it’s just for preventative care. You can find other vets who provide care just as good or better for a much better cost.

This place KILLS PETS do NOT take your pet here. They are extremely negligent, unprofessional and incapable of caring for sick pets.

My experience here was amazing! My close friend and her family tragically watched their dog get hit by a car and unfortunately had to euthanize due to the condition she was in. The whole situation was very traumatic for them. They were very emotional and In shock. There is no way to even thank Dr. Thibodeau for being so calm, patient, empathetic and understanding to my friend and her family. Thank you so much!

Great facility. They got me in on an emergency basis and took care of my dog… it was hands-down the best experience I’ve ever had with a vet. Dr Thibodeau and staff are 5 star!!!

My cat has diabetes and I went to this vet ONCE and will never go back. At first I just wanted syringes to give his insulin and they gave them to me WITHOUT a sharp disposal container saying they don't even have those. Then when I needed his insulin refilled they told me they didn't even have medication on his chart (I transferred his info from another vet.)When we got there with him for his visit so I could get it on his chart and get his meds now all of a sudden they said he has PzI on his chart (that's the abbreviation for his brand on insulin) but the vet didn't even know what it was??? They didn't weigh him while he was there, should be standard procedure for every visit and they just took him out of the room the entire time I was there.Never once did I get to see the vet interact with my pet, I didn't get to see any of the exam, I have no idea how they treated him and when I tried to talk to the vet she kept cutting me off and wouldn't even let me answer the questions she was asking me before she started talking again. Then they tried to charge me $300 for bloodwork after I told them all I needed was the insulin. (They didn't charge me but I don't need to pay $300 for bloodwork information that should have already been in his chart.)The ONLY good thing about this vet was the distance in regards to my home, but it's near impossible to even get into their parking without having to go around a whole block because of the median on dodge (not their fault but just takes away from the only good part of them.)

very time efficient! got us into a room immediately. the staff were absolutely wonderful. answered all of our questions, and relieved our stress. they took great care of our boy, got him medication to help his boo-boo. our cat also seemed to love the staff as he gave the vet assistant a giant hug the second he got picked up. 10/10 would highly recommend to anyone with a furry friend!

My veterinarian was wonderful here. The front end staff are/were extremely nice too. However, due to a vet tech being subpar she caused my bengal cat to go permanently deaf. In March of 2023, my bengal cat got a full bill of health from the doctor but she mentioned his ears were dirty. So I said if they showed me how to clean his ears I would be able to do that. The vet tech was so aggressive she broke the wooden spool of the q-tip and said that it would "be fine as you can never hit the ear drum in cats due to their ear shape" she then applied an 'ear wax' ear drop afterwards. After taking my kitty home I noticed something was off and luckily I didn't apply the ear drops because I found out they were an antibiotic drop not a drop for ear wax. This certain antibiotic is safe as long as the ear drum is intact but is ototoxic (toxic to the inner ear) if the ear drum is ruptured. Due to the negligence and incompetence of the training of this vet tech he is permanently deaf. Overtime we have learned to cope and he is as happy as ever. So my word of advice is to stick with the veterinarian to do these things or verify the vet tech actually knows what they're doing. The worst part is the VCA website literally says don't use q-tips in pets ears -- so it's quite contradictory that the vet tech did so in the first place.

Man, these guys work hard. And even though they were swamped on a Sunday, they made what should have been a terrible experience pretty smooth sailing. In September, we had to take our kitten in as he was quite literally on the verge of death with a mysterious illness. Both the vet and the tech were extremely gentle with us as we navigated the situation and proceeded with blood panels in order to pinpoint the problem. Once the kitten’s ailment was addressed, staff went above and beyond to provide excellent communication, and most importantly, they genuinely cared.Without the VCA, I can pretty confidently say our little guy wouldn’t still be here. From the extraordinary woman who manages the front desk to the veterinary medical staff, this place is top notch in care. Thank you, VCA, for everything you do. Your hard work is not unnoticed!

I had the scare of my life when my sweet, one year old aussie randomly started coughing and having trouble eating, etc. With the mysterious dog illness going around, I was terrified and called around to many vets, who were all booked.I was able to speak with Tasha at VCA and she gave me all the steps to come in and assured me that we would get a room as fast as possible. All of the employees were SO accommodating to my pup and I and calmed all my anxieties and answered any questions I had. They took a very scary situation and made it much less stressful. I was unable to pay the amount and had to use a card from a family member over the phone and they were able to accommodate that. You can tell they all love their job and are passionate about animals. I can't thank all of the vet techs, Tasha the lovely scheduler, the vet and everyone at VCA for making this scary experience much easier.

My dog Zuko is baseline anxious so coming to the vet heightens his nervousness. I am so appreciative of the staff for being understanding and adaptable to Zuko in making sure he was comfortable. I want to give a shout out to Rachel who was our technician. She was extremely patient and gentle with myself and Zuko from the start of our visit - she even helped distract Zuko while we walked out because there were a couple of dogs in the lobby! Thank you VCA for taking great care of Zuko while tending to his needs.
