I get that they closed at 11 everyday but i was literally 5 minutes before closed time and was about to get only 2 items. This big back girl told me store is closed and its not even the exact time yet. This is so ghetto

When it says open at 6 you should open at 6. Not yell at customers minutes till 6 am saying it will be 15 more minutes.

I made a vaccine appointment in advance but waited 40 minutes before they even told me it would be a few more minutes. The company is throwing their staff under the bus with the way the appointments are being set - a more sophisticated system could set the timing of appointments to minimize these issues. The person after me walked out on the appt because of the long wait with no acknowledgement or updates on how long it will be. There’s no indication of anyone hustling to get things done and it’s not especially busy. They also dock their staff’s pay if you don’t agree to give them your phone number for advertising, which is slimy AF. I will go to a different pharmacy chain altogether for future vaccines.

This store has a friendly and efficient staff, and I love that it is open 24 hours! My only complaint is the omnipresent panhandlers in the parking lot, especially at night. **EDIT**NO LONGER OPEN 24 HOURS. More panhandlers than shoppers in the lot. Get it together!

The worst experience was a drunk man trying to take a visa photo! Black American with a beard, smelled like alcohol like hell! Great job, Walgreens, you've got a great employee.

Went in to grab a toothbrush and face wash. I realize today everything is in locked cases, but after asking an employee for assistance and her answering , "I don't have a key", and her returning back to what she was doing without offering any assistance. That's when I left.

I stopped going here a while back because the outside and inside was always unkept. But I needed something quick and this was the closest. The Black and White store associate didn’t greet when I walked in, just stopped their happy conversation, stared at me and looked away. There was no one in a specific aisle and then the intercom goes off saying assistance is needed. That must be their way of saying watch “that” person because a store associate appears, pretending to stock items, you almost get the sense that you’re being watched. Walgreens, please stop profiling a certain demographic of customers, it’s weird and makes the shopping experience uncomfortable.

19 June 2024 The 29th & Dodge Walgreens' staff is friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and hard working. 5☆
. The shelves are under stocked. One of the staff said there have been supply chain issues (i.e. corporate). The supply problem appears to be cronic. 3☆

Reviewing everything but the actual pharmacy: some of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. One cashier was literally on her phone, eating, and using profanity while checking me out.

Pharmacy sucks so bad that we switched to the nearby Bakers. They gave us the wrong number of pills on several occasions and misplaced our medication and said that we came and picked it up (???).
The store? This store is ghetto. Like really ghetto. It's the dirtiest Walgreens in the city. The employees are rude... Last time I was in there, the cashier said literally nothing to us. I spoke to him, but he didn't say anything back. I've purchased eye drops here and they were expired ($20!). Their employees are too busy face timing, live streaming, and listening to their earbuds to care at all. They might as well close this place. It really went downhill after Covid and haven't been able to keep decent staff, since.
My wife and I both agreed we won't be returning. The 50th and Center location and the one in Council Bluffs are both 24 hours and have much, much better service in a cleaner store. In addition to a cleaner store, there's no people causing commotion, people yelling, rude staff, long wait times retrieving times, long wait times checking out, transients outside causing problems for people, and most of all? They can actually keep their staff as they're not desperate like this one is.
