Walgreens is a convenient neighborhood store that offers pharmacy services, health and beauty products, groceries, snacks, and personal hygiene items. Staff members are often described as polite, helpful, and friendly, with some employees going out of their way to assist customers, carry items, or offer coupons. Customers appreciate the store’s wide selection and reasonable prices that match larger grocery stores. However, some experiences, like long wait times in the drive-through, have been disappointing. Overall, Walgreens is valued for its helpful staff and variety of products, making it a useful spot for prescriptions, everyday shopping, and quick errands.
We made a mistake with storing our baby’s antibiotic. The pharmacist, Tom, was absolutely wonderful. Not only did he provide a refill within an hour so we could get it to our kiddo before bed, but he explained why it needed to be refrigerated and was VERY kind! Most positive and kind pharmacist I’ve ever had!

Avoid going inside to the pharmacy counter, if you can help it. Go through the drive-through instead. That's where the friendly, helpful staff are working.
Edit: Just kidding. The drive-thru isn't safe either anymore. There's a Hy-Vee about five minutes away on Stoneybrook. Use that instead!

Walgreens refuses to follow the prescription unless it is a class 1 narcotics. I will also say that the Walgreens App is absolutely terrible at explaining why a prescription is delayed. Absolutely terrible.
