Called to check for a shoe size and got transferred. Each time they hung up. I finally get to the store and it took 6 minutes to get help back where the shoes are. Didn’t see one clerk or associate back with the tennis shoes were the whole entire time I almost knocked on the back door where they hang out in the back where the shoes are. I highly recommend going to the Westroads Mall as you could see all of the associates in every single section of the store.

This place is always our first stop for sporting goods in the area. They have a good selection for all types of sports, so no matter the season we are able to go here for most of the items we need. The service is always great and everyone is very helpful when you need them. The value is mid level, as their prices are usually on the high side, but you can usually find a coupon for a percentage off somewhere. Overall, not a bad place to start your sports shopping, and if you can't find what you need, make the trip to Scheels for their two floors worth of selection!

I went to DSG to use the gift card I received quite a while ago. I figured that I would use it to purchase a gift for a friend. When I got to the checkout, Paige, (cashier ) said the card wouldn't scan. Mgr came over to help and that was absolutely no help either. It was the blind leading the blind. I left the gift on the counter and walked out empty handed. It was the 1st and last time there. The End

Unprofessional, unhelpful staff. Poor selection. I’m someone who tries to shop brick and motor as much as I can to keep those stores open so people stay employed. But if they make it clear they don’t want your money or business… why give it to them? Do yourself a favor, if you’re going to shop at a store, go to Scheels.

I was in the fitting room when staff just opened the room without knocking. Two other staffs also tried opening it. It was mortifying. I wish there would be tags that would label the room when it’s occupied, otherwise train the staff how to knock before opening doors specially in a fitting room.

Costomer service was non-existent. Hasn't changed since my last visit. Went to the golf department, and the two folks working were both watching football on the TV in the department. No one asked if I needed any help. This is why I will not spend my money at this store!

I've shipped here for personal reasons and business. My experience has always been positive. Customer service has always been impressive. The shoe department and the cashiers are who I dealt with the most. They have helped my business save money and been very helpful when my family is looking for shoes.

Unfortunately, the customer service has been lacking the last couple visits I have had at this store, maybe take some customer service lessons from Hy-Vee! Even if it’s a “lowly “ DoorDash driver there to pick up a package for delivery. Remember, we are consumers also. I will never step back in your store as a customer. Feel free to have your customer relations manager reach out. I would love to talk to them.

Lots of stock but the shoe section is sooooo unappealing now. Not a fan of how it is set up with only display shoes and the associate has to get the shoe for you. Let me see all the boxes and find out myself please.

Staff have no idea what they are doing. I was just in to purchase a golf club. I pulled up my rewards number to receive my $20 off. The cashier said it didn’t work and proceeded to tell me the full price. I insisted that she try typing the code in (has happened before), to which she called up the manager. He proceeded to press some buttons and told me again the full price. I then showed them that I was able to use my rewards online-if needed- however I could not purchase the club online because it was part of the sales transaction in the system. After 25 minutes of them working through their issues, i stopped them and proceeded to pay full price. If you have rewards and expect to use them, do it online. Staff have absolutely no clue how to process rewards. Could be a company wide issue, but have only ever experienced the issue at the Shadow Lake store.

No idea why this location has 3.8 stars but it is definitely a 5 star review and they deserve it. I would love to give special thanks and mention to manager Natalie who not only took her time to find the right shoes for me but for my wife as well which took well over an hour because my wife wanted to find those perfect tennis shoes. She showed top notch customer service, understanding as well as professional knowledge. If anyone is struggling finding anything sports related Natalie and Shadow Lake Dick’s is definitely place to go!

I could not believe the way we were treated when asking a store employee for help buying a ball glove. Customer service is lacking greatly in this store. Next time you even think about going to this store, just take the extra 5 minutes and drive to Scheels.

Very poor customer service. Went and exchanged a pair of shoes and and they only credited the purchase price of the return shoes and none of the sales tax. Manager talked to me like I was stupid for asking and told me you lose the sales tax on an exchange….is that even legal? Now they will resell the returned shoes and collect additional tax on same item.
