The general manager here is so kind and sweet. I had such a great experience because of her. She cared about my budget and options with my vision and eye glass wear, she was soft spoken and sweet, and overall I had the best experience. Thank you so much!❤️

Experience was good with the first two employees, they explained answers to all my questions, polite and helpful. Until the last person at the desk. She added on things I did not ask for, she spoke so low I couldn’t hear her and she gave me attitude when I asked questions. I turned and referred my questions to the more experienced technicians, hoping they were noticing the interaction. The associate at the desk couldn’t care less about anything going on, didn’t apologize for the add on she decided to make, and didn’t even have closure to the conversation. Just leaving me to ask, will that be everything? The more experienced technician was doing her best to smooth things over. I wanted to simply leave a review for the company to know about, but when I chatted with an agent from Visionworks that person was also very rude! Her response was, “ok”. And when I told her of my concern that this company doesn’t seem to care either way, the response was “I’ll keep that in mind”. I have never been on a chat where I’m insulted. So the final outcome is Visionworks doesn’t care about my opinion or business, so google reviews and others will be the next step, and going somewhere else is a given. They have very bad ratings, I should have read before I went.

Had eye appointment in July which was also exam for contacts. Went to this store for the third time two weeks ago to find out the status of the contacts. No assistance from the sole employee. Requested to be contacted by supervisor. Still waiting for that call. Pathetic customer service.

I’ve always gone here for my glasses and I get a better price with in store prices vs my insurance company! They have amazing staff too that is always so nice. Especially the younger blonde haired girl (Sarah I believe) and Carol. They have been great to me! My glasses were fast with shipping and Sarah (I think was her name) helped me to fit amazing. I highly recommend this place! :)

The appointment it self was fine but call me old fashioned I prefer to see a Dr. in person as opposed to a video screen 450 miles away in Chicago!

I'm a Visionworks customer from New York. While on vacation in Nebraska, one of the nose pieces broke off my glasses. I stopped in and explained my situation, and the front counter representative immediately started working on replacing both nose pieces. I was out of there in 5 minutes. She was very professional and kind. I forgot to ask for her name, but she was working Thursday evening, 7/27/2023. You have a great employee!

Fastest exam ever in 45 years didnt even note my reading lenses strength rushed to get me into contacts. Terrible service when I complained.

The good... staff is polite and willing to help if they have time. The bad... shouldn't take two or three follow-up visits to get my glasses/lenses corrected. In addition, I have to wait a minimum of 3-4 weeks to see the virtual optometrist every time there is an issue. Takes a minimum of 2 months before I get a usable pair of glasses. I understand that mistakes happen, but having to wait so long to get them corrected is my issue. How about I withhold payment till I'm 100% satisfied? I bet they would get me right in and fix the issues. This has been my experience in 2021 and in 2022. It will not happen in 2023. My family and I will no longer be using Visionworks.

Everything was great. My biggest problem was the lack of communication. I was never told my glasses were ready for pick up. I had to call multiple times to check my order status. The telehealth part was also odd. Definitely not my preference but it worked.

I wanted to THANK the associates of the Shadow Lake store for their exceptional advice and service! simply outstanding! A couple weeks ago I went to the store seeking an older coach frame to fit some existing prescription lenses and the associate pointed me to search online. I did find a used frame and it was sent to me with broken arms! I took them into the store and the associates were kind and did a fabulous job of fixing the arms and adjusting them to fit me and installing my back up lenses. I could not be more thrilled to have a second pair of sunglasses! thank you again, you made my day!

Queue the canned response from this business below, I emailed them and never received a response. However, I did receive a response and refund once I contacted the Better Business Bureau with a complaint.This is one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had trying to get a glasses/contact lenses prescription. I should have read the recent reviews for this place prior to coming. For one they use the whole telehealth, remote technology thing where you talk to techs/doctors remotely at their store. I have no problem with this generally, but if you do that, you better have individuals who know what they are doing on the other end. They basically have techs doing the job of the doctor and then the doctor verifies it's correct. The first appointment they got my prescription completely wrong, totally off. The doctor that prescribed it was even confused by the prescription he was giving me because it was so off from my last prescription, but issued it out anyways. Because the trial lenses they gave me were so off, I attempted to contact them by phone and got no answer, so I had to go in and schedule another appointment. When I did that, they seemed to have no idea who I was and were pretty rude about it. When I went in for a follow-up they improved the prescription, but it was still incorrect. When I went in for the 3rd appointment to correct the prescription again, which was scheduled 2 weeks prior, they didn’t even have my appointment that they themselves made in their system. I literally watched them put into the system on their computer a few weeks prior. On top of that, they said their whole network connection was down and couldn’t do appointments anyways, no phone call or heads up about that at all. Customer service here is non-existent aside for one individual who was helpful. It shouldn’t take months to get a simple prescription, at my last “appointment” I just told them I’m done and would like a refund. Would avoid this place if possible.
