It's a good hitch but a part came off. Nobody answers their phone. I have left several voicemails and have not received a response. It's very frustrating.Yes. Please call. You used to be a good company.

Best Tow Bar in the industry & amazing service. Call ahead and set up a tour of the facility. We love to see America at Work! There staff is extra friendly and the campground for their customers is 5 stars. Thanks to Cody for the tour & Steve for the service on our bar. Great experience! Worth the drive to see them.

Purchased a Blue Ox hitch and later was advised by other campers that my hitch was incorrect for my trailer. Contacted Blue Ox and they quickly responded and sent my the correct head for my set up. Highly recommend this company with great customer service and a product line for all towing needs. Thanks Blue Ox Al Murphy

Great customer service and a great product. We had a BXR6200 Fifth-Wheel Hitch and it started to show signs of wear. Contacted customer service and they sent out an entire newly designed hitch! Got the new BXR2100 installed this past week and have been super happy with how it tows and it’s ease of use. It is about 60 pounds lighter than our old hitch and takes up less room in the bed!

Arrived Sunday afternoon, all sites were empty. Not a soul around. We picked one and set up for the night. The next day a young man was emptying the trash cans but was unable to tell us anything about payment. We checked the office at the factory next door but they seemed unconcerned and explained it is almost always empty on the weekends and mostly used by the customers getting repairs on their hitch systems. Very clean, quiet, with full hook ups.

We had a difficulty with our Blue Ox hitch. I contacted Blue Ox for help. Chad immediately offered a solution to my issue. There was no question about the age of the hitch, the warranty, or other limiting factor. Cutomer service is top notch!

I recently had a bad experience with my Blue Ox Aventa II tow bar. I was towing my F150 pickup. I was U-Turning in a parking lot at night. It was a large enough parking lot for the turn. It was night time so I wasn't really able to see much in my mirrors while I was turning. Mostly I was watching everything in front of me as I turned. About three-fourths through the turn I felt something strange and got out to take a look. The right arm of the Blue Ox tow bar had completely buckled and the bar was up against my towed vehicle. I really don't know why this happened. Perhaps for some reason the toad did not follow my truck. Perhaps the wheels locked up on the toad. I was able to get the vehicles separated and removed the tow bar. I was able to get another tow bar and resumed my trip. Today I called Blue Ox for support. I was hoping they could give me some insight on what might have happened so that I could ensure that this doesn't repeat itself. The woman that answered my call told me that it was an old tow bar and they don't make that model anymore. She said there were no parts available and it could not be fixed. She told me that they feel the expected life of a Blue Ox tow bar is only 6-7 years and should then be replaced.I assured her that it had only been lightly used and stored indoors. She told me that the Blue Ox tow bar would suffer from metal fatigue even if it was sitting on a shelf indoors! I was floored by that ridiculous statement. I asked her if there was someone I might speak to that could offer more insight into the reasons for the failure. She assured me there was no one at Blue Ox that could give me a different answer than hers. She asked if there was anything else she could help me with. I assured her that up until now she certainly hadn't helped me with anything at all.

Placed an order on 6/1/2021 for a shank. The web page noted a 4 week timeline. No problem, my big trip wasn’t until the middle of August. They charged my card as soon as the order was placed. It has been 10 weeks since the order has been placed. At 7 weeks I decided to call to check up. I have called the customer service line for online orders 10+ times at different hours of the day and always end up being sent to voicemail. I have also left 4 or 5 voicemails over the last 3 weeks. I have received 0 return calls, emails, etc since. I am not one to leave a negative review for anything/anyone, but I don’t really have any options left. I do not recommend doing business with this company.

I'd be remiss as a customer of blue ox if I didn't take the time to share my experience with them. I've been using blue ox products for many years starting with weight distributing hitches with sway control for flat pull travel trailers. Graduated to motorhomes and could find no reason to not continue my relationship with them. The fit, finish and engineering of their base plates along with the ease of hookup is second to none. After 10 years of faithful use it was time to replace my trusty tow bar. I contacted the factory and spoke to Leslie in customer service. She was more than willing to do whatever it took to make my visit easy and stress free. She changed schedules and went to bat for me to allow their thriving business to meet my schedule and needs. Steve came to my coach and did the swap and explained the differences of the newer product and made me feel at ease. Both Leslie and Steve are to be commended for their great customer service, they are truly an asset to the blue ox brand.

We had an amazing experience. Thank you. One week into our four months on the road and our hitch became damaged. Don’t know where, when or how. We called Blue Ox. Fortunately we were in Nebraska. We headed to the factory a days journey out of our path. We are now in the Blue Ox campground, free to customers, our hitch is repaired for a reasonable parts fee and we are on our way tomorrow. Top notch service and facilities.

Answered all my questions and offered any further help even though I haven’t purchased their unit or may not need it...yet. I had others ignore me.
