Ashley is a great manager to deal with. The day before I spoke with one of the employee Marissa and was PROMISED that I will get picked up. It was close to closing but it never happened. I was stranded for 1 hour. I tried calling back but of course the office is closed. It was terrible to be left stranded while PROMISES was made. I absolutely APPRECIATE what Ashley did for me. 10 stars for her! No complains! But please train your people. Don't promise what you can't keep. Thank you.

Absolutely horrific customer service. Rented a car for three days, was given a contract for a week and assured that information would be corrected to reflect charges for only the three days when we returned the car. The contract was never updated and we were charged over $1000. Multiple attempts to reach the agent and supervisors at the location were ignored, so we filed a dispute with our bank in order to have the charges corrected. The bank referred us back to Hertz who says they can’t speak to us because we disputed the charge. We’re now stuck with a $1000+ bill that is a direct result of Hertz saying they would do something, failing to do so, and avoiding us afterwards. You’re better off walking or hitchhiking than renting here.

You are better off walking!! Absolutely the worst customer experience I have ever had. I made a reservation on September 27th to pick up a car on October 5th. I call to ask how late I am able to pick up the rental and I am informed that they don't actually have any \"Hertz\" cars but only their company owned vehicles, and they don't offer unlimited miles on those. With that they also informed me that I made my reservation before a recent policy change took place and the price for the rental would be higher! What a crock! I explained that's not my problem I expect the rental for the agreed upon price! The lady, who claimed to be the manager named Alyssa told me that unless I paid the extra I wouldn't have a car AND THEN HUNG UP ON ME! I called corporate, they said since this is a franchise location they couldn't help and transferred me back to the scottsbluff location. I asked for the manager and that's when I was informed this Alyssa was the manager. So I asked for the owner of the franchise and was told he's in Kearney, N.E. and then she hung up again! I call the Kearney location where I was informed the owner was out of the office for the day but the lady on the phone was a sweetheart and got him to call me back. Unfortunately the owner Matt was less than helpful. Explained they typically don't do \"out of town rentals\" and the system should have not allowed me to make the reservation. I then asked if that's the case why would I not be informed of these shortcomings prior to the day of the rental? He claimed that they don't usually get the reservation till the day of. How in the world can you manage reservations like that? I was told they \"would try and track down a car\" waited for about 2 hours and gave up and had to cancel my entire work trip, making me look like a fool. If you need to rent a car and this is the only place available, I recommend saving your self the trouble and just walk!

Loved I was able to get a rental on short notice . Sad that they don't do unlimited miles. But car was nice and service was friendly.

So I bumped up Scottsbluff Hertz this time. Flew in to Nebraska from Denver right after the recent blizzard which shut down the airlines and car rental for 3 days. When I picked up my car the manager drove it around to the front for me and it was warmed up and ready to go!
