Great group of people. Our oldest wanted a new fur baby. He would go see her everyday, the group of people were always friendly and helpful. We welcome juilet to the family. Thank you for all that you guys do!!

Brought these 2 kitties home and couldn’t be more happy! They love one another and are thriving! Staff were super helpful, patient and friendly through out the entire adoption process. Thank you?

About Panhandle Humane Society
We are the local animal shelter for stray cats and dogs. Strays are held for 3 business days, not including the day they arrive, to allow time for the owners to come and claim them. We also take in surrendered cats and dogs. Surrenders are held for at least 24 hours before being made available for adoption. In 2023 we took in 571 stray cats and 837 stray dogs. There were 105 cats and 77 dogs surrendered. We adopted out 402 cats and 267 dogs (all spayed or neutered). 25 cats and 534 dogs were returned to their owners.
