On July 15, 2019, while on vacation in Scottsbluff, this New Yorker, wanted to learn how to quilt. Happily, I met Susie in the shop. She was friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable, and eager to help me. She was enthusiastic about the owner, her quilting knowledge and the shop. We spoke for about 15 minutes before other customers entered. She encouraged and gave me confidence to begin.
