Took vehicle in to get breaks replaced because a shop in Lincoln said they needed done. Thought it was weird cuz I did them not too long ago. Hobsons told me they are good to go and will check again in a few oil changes. Honesty is a great business model and I really appreciate an honest mechanic!

Took my car here because I was out of town and couldn’t get it started / jumped. I thought it was the starter. They said they could take a look at it. However, I didn’t hear back from them for 10 days.Once I finally heard back, I just got a voicemail that said my car was ready.I called back and they said it was a battery replacement and it was going to be $400…I was frustrated because they did not call to let me know the issue or the price. I asked the gentleman on the phone, “why is it $400 for a battery…?” And he said “yeah I know. That’s expensive….” That’s it.I could have replaced the battery myself and just paid them for the time they took to look it over and diagnose….But instead I had to pay $400 for a battery. Extremely frustrating and a ton of money. I was really disappointed and upset. When I asked the gentleman at the front office, he just said “oh, yeah…..” he wasn’t rude but didn’t apologize or acknowledge that they did messed up.Not going back. Wouldn’t recommend.
