Dirtiest store in Nebraska. Horrible service, never a cashier. Had to return so much rotten food here.

Went in with my fiancé and two kids to get some groceries and everything was great.... Until we checked out. The Seward, NE location is our usual go-to and we've never had problems there before. One of the "managers" for the registers apparently chose us to hover over and keep looking through our stuff basically trying to imply we were trying to steal. She would not leave us alone when we gave her no reason to believe we were trying to steal anything. She even watched my fiancé scan our one gallon of milk we grabbed and asked us if that was the only one we had or if we'd somehow hid another one under the other groceries, and we didn't have a whole lot in the cart. The entire time she was rude and made it very clear she believed we were trying to steal things when we were just trying to buy food for our kids. I don't know if we just looked untrustworthy to her or what, but the whole experience was frustrating. We really wanted to ask her if we looked like thieves to her and if she wanted to scan everything for us, considering she's getting paid pretty well for customers to do her job for her. Self-checkout is honestly a joke. "Cashiers" get paid to stand around while customers do their job for them, and then they're usually nowhere to be found when you need them or they're rude and go through your stuff. Bring back actual cashiers or put the glorified babysitters to use somewhere they'll actually do some work instead of just standing around like we always see happening at this location.

I stopped in this Walmart on my way through NE to pick up a CD. Ya I know, who but a crazy Eric Church fan would buy a CD. That would be me. The day I arrived Walmart had just implemented restriction on wearing face masks for covid protection and apparently the website did not match their current policy. Sadly a young man, probably being paid minimum wage was taking a verbal beating for the website inaccuracy. However, he kept his cool and continually explained the newest policy. I being from IL was very familiar with mask restrictions so it wasn't an issue for me. I found the store to be large and generously stocked, after all this is a "super store" and it was massive. Sadly I did not find my CD, but it's not a bad place to shop in NE.

Normally, I am not review any business, because any bad review would hurt a business! But I am getting really frustriting with my experience today! I am sure I never have a problem for shopping at Seward Walmart for over ten years here! Today' experiences is outstanding! So, I was at check out this afternoon! My girls bought couple big plastic boxes and I was buying many goods for the whole week. At check out, we try to load all the stuff onto the machine and here was the nightmare begin. First, no greeting - I can live on this ( maybe I should make my cashier more happier to greeting her first, but if you see her face first you won't want to talk) She stared to check out several small items, and she was mad at my girl putting some stuff into the plastic boxes! "Please take out of the stuff in the box! it is hard for me,it might be easy for you" ( my 11 years girl almost can tell that was a rude voice) this is the first words that she shout out ! I was not happy with her attitude and then I answered " ok"! And then she started to throw everything I bought to the plastic bags and spinning the bags holders like crazy with my 9 years old girl standing beside it. And then, she wanted to check out my kitchen mat on the bottom of the piles she push away things on top rudely! ( obviously, she was mad at me did not organize my stuff in her way) (maybe walmart should train all customers to organize their shopping cart to make their cashier more happier! oh this is not the end of story) I saw her pushed away my stuff and try to manage little bit because there are several things might fall on the floor! She burst another sentence " don't touch please" ( I wish she never touched my items today) I am not sure why I can not touch?! and my original thought only to help! She continually spines the bag holder madly and I have to pull my girl away from it! The whole check out atmosphere was frozen! I never met this cashier before and hope never see her in the future! She is just the rudest people! Horrible to be a cashier! I am personally working service and business for 15 years, and I never meet a rude people like this! If there is a negative star, I will rate negative! Just so disappointed!
