Indian Cave State Park is a beautiful place to camp and hiking. The campground is huge with lots of camping everywhere and many trails that are worth visiting in fall time. October is a wonderful time with decorated campsites, trick or treat festivities, Halloween blast, and blacksmith, broom man, lye soap man make. Family and all ages love the activities offered, including Girl Scouts, the yearly volkswagen busses group. The park is underrated in Nebraska and is a beautiful area, many room and a best decorated campsite. Plan a spot a year ahead and get very busy.
This is our favorite campground. Halloween time was a blast for 2025. Only critique would probably be to add an additional dump station at some point.

Absolutely beautiful place to camp or just be. Especially during mid October. Our yearly camping trip involves all the volkswagen busses, and the whole group of us absolutely loves being involved with the trick or treat festivities every year.
