Great rv camping spot. In Nov only electric available. Showers were hot but shower room a bit moldy.

Well equipped, however very noisy because of the highway.

We stayed here for one night while traveling across Nebraska. You can see both the Cabela's and the campground from I-80 on the north side. It's a first-come, first-serve campground. We called ahead to check if they had sites available, but they couldn't really tell us that: they told us to pick an available site and then go into the store to pay for it once we were settled. Coming from the west on I-80, we could see there were available sites so we knew we were good before we exited the interstate. Even if you're unlucky and there aren't sites available, at worst you've wasted maybe 10 or 15 minutes checking it out before getting back on the road.
The campground has an RV section with 31 FHU sites (27 pull-throughs and 4 back-ins) and 7 electric-only pull-throughs, and a tent/dry-camping section with 6 sites. The roads and site pads are gravel while the site lawns are grass. We chose pull-through site 20, which was long enough to fit our 37-foot fifth wheel and 21-foot truck with room to spare and was pretty level side-to-side. The only slight negative was that the electric and water hookups are towards the front of the site, and our RV's power plug is in the back, but our extension cord gave us the reach we needed.
The one campground building at the entrance has a small office (unoccupied during our stay), an overnight registration box, a laundry room, men's and women's bathrooms and a hallway of shower stalls. The key code for the bathrooms, showers, and laundry is provided on the registration slip or when you pay in the store. Across from the office is a small playground, a dump station, a horseshoe pit (but BYOH) and two dumpsters. There is no dog park but there are dog poop stations and plenty of open grassy areas to walk dogs. Amenities and attractions within walking distance include the Cabela's store itself, the small Pony Express National Monument, and a large pond with a paved walking trail.
In terms of cell service, the best speed I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna was 134 Mbps down and 26 up, and we had no trouble streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 28 Mbps down and 22 up. There is WiFi at the campground, but when I tried it I only saw 4 Mbps down and 3 up.
We would stay here again if we were in the area.

This campground is a very nice place. We were there in late September. We found the space we wanted to get, completed the paperwork that was at the office door, and settled in. Stayed an extra night it was so nice.
Nearby activities: Across from Cabelas.

Well kept and clean. BEWARE of the sprinklers. Don’t leave windows open. It’s insane to think that they can’t or won’t adjust the sprinkler system to not soak your vehicle and RV. An otherwise positive experience can be ruined by something so easily fixed.

This is a nice travel park. Modest prices, And a very nice facility. It’s kept very clean and squared away. It is a grass and gravel park owned by Cabela’s outdoor store. We did not try the laundry or showers here.
Cabela’s is right next-door so you can walk over and buy your outdoor gear. There are rabbits and geese in and around the park. The Internet was OK – not great. There’s quite a bit of noise from the nearby freeway, but not enough to be a great distraction. There are a fair number of trees to make for some shady campsites
All in all it’s a nice little oasis to stay in if you’re out traveling. I recommend this place. Dave Purkerson

Just a one night stay while traveling. There is no reservation, so it's first come, first serve. I would definitely stay again.

Not our first time here and will most likely stop again. Easy access off the highway when traveling from the Midwest to the west. Easy in, easy out with clean facilities. Only downfall is they PREFER you go inside to register your campsite, (which you do at a register) and which was made slightly difficult in a storm, but this would not stop us from utilizing the camping area again.

This place is excellent! Full hook ups, small store, laundry room, most of the RV spots are drive thru. Each space has a table/benches and bbq. It's not a luxury place but it is a great spot to park for a night or two. The place was fairly packed while we were there. It's a good place to stop if you're driving along Hwy 80 and need a break. This camp is on the grounds of the original Cabela's.

For the price it was well worth the overnight stay. Pick your site and then you go pay at Cabala’s. No reservations are accepted. I would arrive as early as possible to ensure you get a site. By 4 pm on a Saturday it was almost full of RVers. We just fit in the pull through pulling a vehicle. Length about 60’. Sites pretty close together but just for overnight it was fine.

Do not recommend the tent camping sites at all - it cost $28 to camp there and they did not warn us that the sprinklers were going to come on at 3 am and absolutely soak our tent and gear. Horrible experience. You’d think they’d have a way to not have the sprinklers go off in the sites where people are tent camping but I guess their lawn is more important. An elderly man a few campsites down also had all his things soaked. Also the showers were grimy and it cost 1.50 to dry things in their driers that got wet from their sprinklers and it didn’t even fully dry them. Probably an ok experience for RVs tho.

A very clean, well kept, and readily available campground. The price can't be beat in the overall quality was very welcomed.
Pull in, find your spot, and then head on into Cabela's to pay. Make sure you bring your military ID card, or the number of discount cards for camping. Also, there is a great walking trail that goes through the campground so you can get some fitness while you stay.
