Very nice owners can tell you all about the yarn, down to the animals it came from. Small place but very nice selection of different types of wool.

Great customer service and one on one help. Great hidden knitting gem in Stromsburg. Worth the drive!

My husband and I road tripped to Spindle Shuttle and Needle today and found some great yarn! So happy with my purchase.
More than that, the owner spent time with us and gave us a tour of the mill where they spin the yarn.
Kelsey is so knowledgeable on her craft, the town she lives in and the rich history of the community. We really learned so much in such a short time!
If you are in mid-Nebraska and looking for yarn, stop here!

Terrible customer service… held my money for 15 days no response from them to let me know the yarn wasn’t available… when I called she could have cared less about the situation. Everything else was more important. Kelsey stated she tried to email me but she has issues with her email. Never got an email from her. My project was already started and a substitute won’t have helped. I didn’t raise my voice until she did.

This store is a Nebraska state treasure! The yarns are beautiful and the owner is extremely knowledgeable. They “grow” their own yarn and are interested in every aspect of the production of yarn.

Kelsey is always ready to help and answer questions. Project quantities and special orders are no problem and shipping and shopping online is available. The shop, and attached fiber mill, are meticulously maintained and tours are welcome if she is free.

This is a home town owned store. That does an amazing job on making yarn and other items from local wool producers. This one will only grow larger as people learn about the store. Wonderful staff, learned a lot about all that goes into making the yarn!!! Thanks for a great informational tour!

This shop is a treasure! It has a beautifully curated collection of yarns in various types of fiber--be sure to check out the yarn made of nettles! The Fiber Mill(which is housed in the same building) also offers tours! Perfect for anyone who loves fiber, knitting, crochet, etc

Ordered yarn online, amount was charged to my credit card but have not received any shipping notice. Tried emailing , then FB messaging and finally contact was made by phoning . Was told that she “ opens at 1 pm today and she would contact me this afternoon about my order” Still have not heard anything so I am disputing my credit card charge and ordering from someone else.

I bought a family member of mine a sock per month membership for 6 months for his birthday. After 2 months, the socks stopped coming. We have made several calls over the last few months since, with no response or action. I am left with a disappointed loved one, a lot of aggravation, and an empty wallet. As I have said to you on the phone, we would like either the 4 additional pairs of socks that we paid for, or we would like a refund, please.

This store is abandoned. No one answered messages or picked up the phone. It was rather disappointing.
