I absolutely recommend this vet!!! I have a rescue with severe PTSD. He was severely abused by his past owners. It took me a long time to be able to show him what love is without him getting triggered. He got himself in a predicament and injured himself. I'm disabled and on fixed income so I asked them all if I could make payments. No one would help me, even tho he was crying. But Arbor Valley, Dr Gigstad, didn't skip a beat and helped me. Very kind, compassionate and understanding. Not too many businesses are like that anymore. Dr Gigstad put my scared baby above getting paid first, and for that, I will always be grateful.

Dr Gigstad got my dog in for an emergency tooth extraction. He’s 15 so high risk being put under but he was in pain and swelling. They ended up taking 4 teeth but two days later he is back to himself and doing great. Thank you for squeezing us in and taking care of our old man!

Today my dog took a painful turn in a very short amount of time. Clearly in pain and unable to hold her bladder I started calling all over to get her an emergency appointment or to at least get some medication for what was clear to be a uti. No where would help us or would get us in until Monday and I knew she couldn’t wait that long. Thank god for Arbor Valley Syracuse ! The wonderful women who answered my call said “yes, bring her in now I have medication you can start her on” We were able to test my dogs urine and get her antibiotics within minutes of arriving even though the clinic had a full schedule for the day and it didn’t cost anywhere near what I was expecting. I can’t imagine the pain my dog would have gone through all weekend waiting for a Monday appointment, I am so grateful for Arbor Syracuse today !! Recommending you to everyone I know !!

The vets here are accessible and helpful. We've never had a negative experience with our three small dogs. I shopped around teeth cleaning services (because it's expensive) and found them to be on par with other vet clinics.
