Did not stay there, but visited their during the Czech Festival on August 2nd through, and 8 roasted duck with green beans and sauerkraut and dumplings and kolache the food was good. The hotel is interesting, but it was all Madness over this weekend because they had a Miss Czech contest and other things going on. The town was very busy with a lot of visitors. But it was an interesting experience, and I will go back to Wilbur again sometime after this summer's holidays are over so that I can experience more of the town.
Nearby activities: Be sure to visit the Czech cultural society and the Czech Museum and several other interesting places in the area

I bought a gift card for my 80+ parents for Christmas. Just found out they are under new management and will not honor gift card. Midly disappointed in monetary loss, a huge loss for there Christmas present going down the drain.

Food and drinks: Went for the Saturday prime rib special at 5:30 pm. The restaurant didn't prepare enough prime rib for the evening so we had to go somewhere else.

We stayed there last weekend for my dear auntie’s funeral?. We had a cousin dinner of about 20 of us. The food and drinks were great. The room we stayed in was cozy. The staff and owners were very accommodating. Don’t miss out on this gem.

14 of us "took a drive" to find the best food of small towns And We Found It! The Food at the Wilber Hotel was excellent! It is run by an educated and seasoned (pun intended) Chief! My mushroom & broccoli risotto was creamy and delicious. My steak was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I asked about how the chef made the Czech dumplings and he came out of the kitchen and shared how he boiled down the potatoes himself! I could have had just the salad bar with it's spinach and raspberries, cheeses and veggies, but I didn't want to miss out on the prepared to order fine dining. Even my friends burger looked fat and delicious. I most certainly will return as I still must try the Ruben, their ever changing Sunday brunch & then one of the official Czech meals.

We also asked for and received a tour of this quaint hotel that has a real B&B hotel throwback to like 1945, feel.

The hotel has so much old school charm. It's like being able to spend the night in a museum. Yes, it's dated but I still love it. The rooms were decorated by families from Wilbur. So each room is distincttly different and unique. I don't think there's anywhere else like it. It was clean and quiet and the atmosphere felt like they already knew us when we arrived.
